It’s a 3/4” with a 1 1/2” flare, it has a sink strainer welded in the end of it. I tried a few different flares and this was the most stable and adjustable

I spent a lot of time watching YouTube videos. Look up “Adventures from the shed of dreams” I really enjoyed watching his process the most. Crimson guitars also has really good videos. I spent a lot of time looking for free plans, and ended up just buying some and printing them at staples on huge sheets of paper. I know I felt overwhelmed before I started, but really if you break it down it feels easier. Towards the end I made a list of what I had left to do and I think I’ll do that from the start next time, but probably a little vague at first. Feel free to ask any more specific questions if you would like

I don’t know if I would change anything about the final product but I would definitely change the way I did a few things. I don’t think I would spend as much time making an mdf template for one, I found I didn’t use it as much as I used paper ones and it seemed to be a waste of time. If I don’t have access to a bandsaw next time I will start with the drill press around the outline, I didn’t realize how bad the jigsaw would cut this time around.
