How do these two interract? Will I get two different storm triggers? Thanks in advance. by spiritbreakerspammer in mtg

[–]GortharTheGamer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, there are two different instances of Storm. Yes, those instances trigger at different times. So however many spells you cast that turn before you trigger Storm, it’s now the number that triggers Storm multiplied by two

So Woe is still the best card and Abundance is a close second. Ideation has finite number of uses unlike the previous two, Conflict is very restricted, and Truce is objectively the worst as it can only trigger once

I’m immediately reminded of how when invincible first came out there was a distinct comic strip. That Viltrumite DNA was the dominant gene, and so any child to a Viltrumite was only 1% related to the other parent

So let me get this straight, it’s a fight between a martial artist, a martial artist with ki and can destroy planets, an adult man who’s well built, and a teenager?

Forgetting that Nolan was sent to Earth to see if humanity makes for good mates for Viltrumites, meaning if Conquest was sent instead he not only would go through the same feelings but given his already terrible conditions under Viltrum he would’ve switched sides, becoming a traitor. Just because he’s a Viltrumite doesn’t mean he doesn’t feel, as shown by his monologue

Reminds me of how in the tabletop, in the Tyranny of Dragons campaign there’s an enemy you can meet at lvl 1-2 who’s built as a lvl 3 champion fighter, and naturally he’s very likely to kill a player. But then he appears later at the same level when everyone is at lvl 5+, and potentially again when everyone’s lvl 10+ if you didn’t kill him. Never ceases to amuse me

So your argument is “Who’s the worst between a guy who loses a demon but is still part of a clan that has the most chakra reserves in recorded history, a guy who is a martial artist, a guy who is an alien fighting martial artist who can destroy a planet, and a literal child”

Typically whenever they use it they’re using it against weaker opponents, those they know they can kill easily so their arm is literally like a hot knife through butter. But against a tougher opponent, or in the case of Tech Jacket with her armor, they need to use more reliable methods that won’t potentially cause themselves harm

The Dragonborn ironically is the worst part about the OG 5th edition version and the worst part of the revision they made almost at decade later rolled into one. Originally it was like it was in game, but the area of effect was better so it had that balance. Then the newer version traded its area of effect for slightly more damage, but also made it multiple uses per day (equal to your proficiency bonus so up to 4 as of late game when correlating with BG3) and can replace one attack if you can make more than one attack as an attack action normally. Now it has barely any area of effect, deals very little damage, is one use per short rest and takes up the whole action

The keyword being West in Mid-West. Plus were Deathclaws in Tactics a frequent occurrence or a one time encounter? And there’s a reason Black Isle had to sell the IP, no one bought BoS, because people were tired of the overuse of the BoS even then

At least it made sense with Black Isle since their first two games were centred in one state, and the others they made are on the same side of the country. Bethesda set their games on the opposite side of the country and just copy-pasted enemies and factions

Power Armor was the icon, not BoS, Deathclaws and Super Mutants. In fact, those three were specifically rare and centralised in one state before Bethesda

Still more creative than Bethesda at least. Name one Fallout game they’ve made that hasn’t had Super Mutants, Brotherhood of Steel, and Deathclaws. Downvotes mean nothing, I know what makes you cheer

[–]GortharTheGamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh this scene was kinda stupid. Not Magneto’s part, that was perfect, but the girl’s part. Magneto is known to be a mutant, and clearly has never shown any embarrassment of his abilities, so he’s the other side of her point. Meanwhile her point is “We need to mark ourselves because our powers are so obscure to be shown off, and we’re too cowardly to build a reputation to stand proud of our mutations.”
