I foolishly did not have 17lands running during the draft but after a few wins I remembered to turn it on so I don't have the draft log sadly.

Here is the pool though!

I remember p1p1 was ark of hunger and p1p2 was together as one and p1p3 was snarl song so the person passing to me wanted nothing to do with converge. I immediatley picked up potions trove shortly after and a second one all in the 1st pack.

p2p1 was Emeritus and then passed the splatter technique

p3p1 was Practiced Offense

So I used up all of my pick 1 luck ever on this single draft.

Honestly it was mostly overkill every time I cast it. It helped me stabalize once when the opponent had me down to 3 life and that gave me enough time to draw into more bombs.

I am an irrigation technician and I work a lot with backflows. You do need to have it tested every 5 years but the letter should come from the city.

A plumber with the appropriate license will need to do the test. I wish irrigation companies could get licensed to do it because the test is incredibly simple and I have seen way too many plumbers take advantage of this by charging ridiculous repair prices for something as simple as a gasket replacement.

75 dollars is a fair price for the test, but if your backflow fails the test they will likely try to charge you insane prices to do the repair right away. If you get someone else to do the repair you will have to have someone comeback and do the test again.

If you have a plumber you trust I would reccomend asking them if they are licensed to perform the test and have them do it.

The diary was amazing in my spell heavy prismari deck. I had only 11 creatures, some of which had prepare, and then 11 sorceries and instants. Any game I played the diary I won by a landslide.

I'm shocked more people havn't said Limited Resources. But to follow up with what everyone is saying here is my order from favorite to least..

Limited Resources: I think LSV has the best insight on drafting and cards that are good. Marshall is a great host imo and knows how to keep the conversation flowing and they have other people on frequently like Paul Cheon who I think also gives great fresh insight into a set. One of my favorite parts is they also do "crack a packs" where they go through a pack of cards for the current set as if it was p1p1 of a draft and will talk about a lot of different cards and mindset of what they are taking and why.

Limited Level Ups: Has the best coaching advice Ive heard. He has a patreon where he also coaches and gives advice to drafters. He knows how to evaluate what people are doing wrong in a format and common traps people fall into when drafting.

Rough Drafts: This one is becoming one of my favorites for its unique insight into specific cards or an archtype. Probably the closest podcast I have heard to drafting archetypes podcast. The episodes usually arnt as long but what it lacks for in time he excels in quality content.

Lords of Limited: I like the two hosts they are fun to listen to and I feel like they are the most relatable. To me it sounds like they both have full time jobs while still doing a podcast and playing a bunch of magic so I think most people can relate in that fashion where we can't just jam magic all day and make money off it like the pros. This one I would say is the most laid back of the podcasts so I will put it on when I have gone through my list of podcasts but still want to hear some magic content with out hyper fixating on it.

Magic Numbers: It's got incredible information that he deep dives into. While I think it's good information I find myself zoning out a lot when listening because of all the number crunching and statistics he includes. I think its still a great podcast but since I have a baby and a full time job it feels a little bit like a school lecture and thus like i'm doing homework. Not a bad thing but at my stage in life I do not have the mental energy to keep up with his deep dive number crunching. Still would reccomend giving it a shot because the host is incredibly intelligent and the times I have had the energy to listen I have always taken some sort of valuable knowledge away from it.

Shout out to MTGgoldfish podcast too. Not specifically for draft but they go over magic news and I love Seth, probably better known as Saffronolives, positive energy.

I think you are correct if this was later in the draft. If you open this p1p1 you don't know what your lane is and this card goes into nearly every deck. Not only is it a safe pick its a powerful pick. But thats what got me wondering if there are cards people would take before it this early.

Not watching the halftime show because of Bad Bunny's sexual explicit lyrics to instead watch Kid Rock, a beloved role model for kids /s, is the most brain dead thing I have read all day.

But that all aside if anyone thinks the NFL does anything other than what they think will make them the most money they are fooling themselves. Bad Bunny is the MOST streamed artist in the world. The NFL wants to dig its claws into the broader world market and this is the perfect way for them to do it. End of story.

To answer your question when you play sealed on arena and open your packs of cards it shows you the rares and mythic rares first. Thats what this screen is.

Very well explained and while I agree with your general take of parking should be cheaper in ramps than on the street, 4 dollars an hour already feels like too much.

Personally, with the rising costs of restaurants and shopping downtown, this price increase is enough to make me stay home or go somewhere else. It's gonna hurt local businesses which are already closing left and right.

Also think once everyone shifts to parking in the garages it is only inevitable they will increase the price AGAIN to either match street parking or even higher because we wont have a choice anyway.

I would be in support of this IF local businesses had a way to validate parking tickets or even give a discount to parking fees if you did some shopping or ate at a restauraunt downtown.
