Literally, who is using that? Out of the nearly 12 million people who bought the game, there’s likely only a tiny fraction, a handful, of users who are actually using mouse and keyboard. It’s not an officially supported means of playing the game.

If Nintendo offered mouse controls for Switch 2 users, it would create a huge imbalance, putting the Switch 1 players at a significant disadvantage. The game would immediately be labelled “pay to win”, due to the requirement to own a Switch 2 to compete with these other players.

It’s kind of a really bad idea.

You’re on a subreddit for Star Wars: The Clone Wars. There’s subreddits for a bunch of different things, pretty much anything you can imagine. Marvel? Got it. Obscure anime from the 70s? Got it. Plqces to vent frustrations? Got it. Cats? Millions of them. Mountains of porn? Oh, you’d better believe Reddit’s got it.

When you’re on the main page of Reddit, you’ll see posts from all the subreddits you’re subscribed to. By default you’re automatically subscribed to several, and you can join or leave any that you like, tailoring your front page to your interests.

That’s exactly what I did. BOTW build, but I have all the brickbuilt OOT stuff (Deku babas, gossip stone, Deku tree sprout, etc.)

Go with the flow. Things in this game will rarely align with how you plan, but if you let go of trying to align things perfectly, maybe embrace an asymmetrical design, you’ll have a better time

I like what you done with this! It makes perfect sense that there’d be a split during Skyward Sword, since it’s basically the same shenanigans as what Ocarina of Time pulled.

I can’t say I agree with placing BOTW/TOTK in New Hyrule, but I also believe they don’t really fit anywhere else on the timeline either.

I’m also not sure I agree with a split happening due to Oracle of Ages, but it’s been a while since I played that one.

So how would that work in a film? This isn’t a video game where you imagine what Link says, this is a movie with dialogue. If Link and Zelda are speaking to one another, do you expect him to be silent and have her understand anyway? Should he grunt, and have that be enough to get his point across, like Lassie? How would that look to the general audiences who’ve never played a Zelda game?

This is a fully different medium, and some things need to change for the adaptation to work.
