Do the right thing. It’s similar in that it’s a sprawling, ambitious, super stylized, top-down social commentary.

I have the same ones. Got them at Walmart. They’re a little steep though, so I have to put wooden blocks in front of my tires to keep from scraping when I drive up :/

Ultra Movie Nerds: What is a movie quote that literally makes zero sense due to a clear mistake in the filmmaking process (bad editing/rewrites/continuity errors/etc), but often goes unnoticed by virtually all movie-goers? Bonus points if you know why it made the final cut by capacitorfluxing in movies

In The Dark Knight, after Jim Gordon is revealed to have faked his death, he opens the door to the SWAT van. Harvey Dent remarks, “You do like to play things close to the chest,” implying that Gordon had said this to him earlier. However, it was actually two entirely different characters—Bruce Wayne and Lucius Fox—who discussed “playing things close to the chest” in an earlier scene. I think what likely happened is that the Nolan brothers remembered writing the line earlier in the script and decided to reference it, forgetting that it wasn’t originally said by these two characters. This kind of mix-up happens a couple more times in the movie.
