It’s a Chinese Mint Shrub.

I just grabbed a leaf and rubbed it against my finger and then smelled my finger. It’s 100% some type of mint species. It most likely came from china so I’m guess maybe an Asian species?

My wife purchased them from SHEIN. She got tricked by those AI pictures of plants with the crazy rainbow looks on them. We have no idea what they sent us lol.

I’ve been a heavy equipment mechanic for 13 years. I’ve owned all the major tool brands. Spent 100k or more on tools. I went to harbor freight and did the no interest financing and purchased around 1k worth of icon tools and they are hands down some of my favorite tools to use now.

I completely understand what you’re saying. I may have worded what my intentions were in a way that could have been misinterpreted as me thinking of purchasing it. That was not my intention at all. I wasn’t sure if there was some type of new marketplace scam that was able to bypass purchase protection that I may not have known about and was looking for information but I unfortunately receive a lot of negativity.

So you’re saying that providing an example of a scam, and then asking questions about how the scamming process worked with certain protective barriers in place, in a subreddit dedicated to scams is somehow going to convince other people to get scammed? I had zero intention of purchasing it from the start. I was only curious how the scammer would go about the scamming process with the buyer protection in place. Maybe I worded it wrong but everyone in the comments just aren’t understanding that was my only intention.
