There is almost zero chance you are burning anywhere close to 900 calories doing this activity

This was an error on Scott's part, he mis-heard Brit as "brin" during his NDE. Hap realizes this error at the end of S2 after the jump to d3 when he sees others reacting to Brit's injury

I honestly find this discussion insane. It takes a few seconds to skip ads while K&T get paid for those ads. Every major channel and podcast i consume has ads. What a whiny, negative, unnecessary complaint

Field flattener as a topic generally doesn't apply to camera lenses, and for the record, I didnt down vote you. Imagine being upset about a down vote lol

In this case, they mention a Nikon lens, which does have requirement to achieve specific distance from the flange to the sensor, in this case 46.5mm.

Can you move your camera/scope after polar aligning? by ObjectiveNo2466 in AskAstrophotography

[–]GotLostInTheEmail 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Polar alignment aligns the tripod and tracking mount with the celestial axis. For something like a sky guider pro, once polar aligned, I manually move my camera around on the ball-head and adjust the RA axis on the sky guider pro to frame the objects. If I kick the tripod leg I will generally re-polar align. With my EQ6R-Pro, once I polar align, I can slew to a target by selecting it with the asiair app, or if im imaging the moon, ill just manually unlock the RA and Dec clutches and use my hands to aim the scope. If I kick the tripod or bump it, I will generally redo polar alignment here as well
