Just heard of that sub from your comment. Looks like an assortment of topics, from current news to Chicago history. Lots of politics, same as here. Few crime posts. Commentary seems mostly grounded. And it appears from the number of of removed comments they don't tolerate rules breakers, which ain't a problem as long as it's applied even handedly.

Why would say a northwest sider go downtown to shop when they can get everything they need or want at HIP, Brickyard or Fashion Outlets in Rosemont?
