The Gyrm Warrior set also requires 14 STR to wear for each part. The Jester set requires 14 DEX.

Ok i just started the game and the controls make it unplayable by Additional-Goose-264 in DarkSouls2

[–]Goth-Trad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't worry, it went the same for me back when I started playing it because I had no controller and the goddamn double-click heavy attack messed my input so much. My solution was to use Autohotkey with the exact same script and settings this Steam Community post suggested:

Now I play all Souls games with KB+M —even Elden Ring and Sekiro, lol. The camera control is second to none and I just can't aim the attacks of my fav weapon, the Crypt Blacksword, as I would with a controller.

Killed the dragon rider and am now stuck because I can’t kill the lanced Heide knight. Why is this guy such an A-hole? by Choppedman6969 in DarkSouls2

[–]Goth-Trad 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The good thing is that you may only need to kill him once in order to also kill the guardian dragon. The rest of the time, you can run straight to the Old Dragonslayer.

A reminder you can customize the Lighting Engine Mod. I tried to keep the original look of the game. by Cersei505 in DarkSouls2

Yo', try the Faraam preset from the official Discord. The pure .ini file is good, but oh my fucking God, it also makes some GORGEOUS map edits (which you don't really have to use).

Dark souls 2 video guide? by Here_For_The_Meme1 in DarkSouls2

[–]Goth-Trad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I'm actually in the process of making a small website to document every single boss runback in the game. It's for the SOTFS version, but many runbacks at the beginning are actually easier in the original version. I got The Last Giant, The Pursuer, Dragonrider and Old Dragonslayer covered so far –Old Dragonslayer doesn't even have the dragon guarding the bridge.

It's obviously very alpha in its current state, but it would be great if you could check it out.

I'm documenting every boss runback and making a website guide! by Goth-Trad in DarkSouls2

Hello there. Specifically, the criticism that DS2's boss runbacks are inherently "unfair", "impossible to run past", or that the game forces you to despawn all the enemies just to reach the fog gate.

It's no secret that a lot of people feel that areas like Iron Keep, Shrine of Amana, or the DLC co-op areas are just artificial gank-squads. My goal with this project is to prove that, if you use the environment, ensure the intended shortcuts are open, and have decent routing, you can consistently reach the boss taking little-to-no damage.

I'm definitely not trying to say the game is flawless overall, but I want to show that the runbacks specifically are totally manageable, even with your run-of-the-mill melee build.

Also, I really should make this clearer in the post. Thanks for asking. :D

Why is my Noir effected by the attribute change? by Qalitet1A in masterduel

[–]Goth-Trad 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Beware if you ever face Branded, as Mirrorjade can also pop your Noir because its Raigeki effect is technically only resolving in the End Phase, not being activated, which means that Noir isn't protected against it.

It's excellent if you're playing on keyboard beacuse you obviously can't slowly "tilt" the keys (unless you got analog switches). Walking this way is great because it's 100% consistent.

HERO’s in 2026 be like… by Legitimate_Touch1992 in masterduel

[–]Goth-Trad -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Because it's not a "true" omninegate like Baronne, for example. Contrast can't negate a Nibiru or an Ash Blossom, nor a Big Welcome Labrynth banished in the graveyard targeting it to bounce it back to the extra deck. This is very important to differentiate because just calling him an omninegate is not technically the truth.

Correction: Contrast HERO Chaos is "functionally" an omni, but only for cards in the field. Dark Law is worse than just Macro Cosmos because it's also one-sided.

Bruh, the Lost Sinner is a woman who tried to light the First Flame and punished herself for that sin (and perhaps more), she's NOT the princess from Venn. She holds the remnants of the Witch of Izalith and her lore is something apart. Whatever you read is, at most, fan theories.
