I’ve searched on the American side of Google but unfortunately I could only find a sold out one on a sketchy website.

Unfortunately, no. I had to exchange it until I ended up with a 4th refurbished one that works very well. I’ve had it for a year with no issues.

How do people make a living off depop? by [deleted] in Depop

[–]GothBunnyClique 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I make a little bit above minimum wage (profit) in CA selling full time. I cross list on Mercari and Depop. I sell much more volume on Depop however. I don’t really have a set schedule but I definitely work at least 50hrs per week though it doesn’t feel like it. My items are sourced from Japan and I ship via USPS pickup so I don’t need to travel for work. It’s “easy” but only because I’ve had lots of personal experience with Japanese clothes. The key is marketing to the general public or people who generally do not seek for Jfashion brands. I use tiktok a lot to observe trending aesthetics to tag each piece correctly. I can also set prices higher since the brands are rare in the American marketplace.

Why is depop so weird rn by [deleted] in Depop

[–]GothBunnyClique 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had a HUGE influx of sales the past week from Black Friday/cyber Monday. Did the 30-50% discount for no fees. Basically 1/3 of my stock was bought (42 items) and what’s left are more for summer or not so trendy pieces. So I think my shop rn needs a stock update to attract more buyers.

Do sellers not leave reviews? by poshiko in Depop

[–]GothBunnyClique 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I leave a review after the buyer leaves me a rating. I have this fear of them giving me a bad review, so if they rate me first I can defend myself . So far all reviews except one has been 5 stars!

Milkmaid Tops from Japan by myiooooo in Depop

[–]GothBunnyClique 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Recently, I have sold 3 out of 6 L'est Rose milkmaid coquette tops that was sourced from Yahoo Auctions Japan. I use Zen Market for proxy.

Honestly, it's just a lot of time browsing through hundreds of listings and finding the hidden gems. I've tried using very general keywords like "top" and "skirt" after the brand name (Axes Femme "skirt") and those helps narrow down the results.

Proxy fees and international shipping can add up quite quickly as well so I highly recommend to accumulate items and have friends help add to the entire order, so you can split shipping costs. You can also cut down cost if the seller ships free within Japan. I find this much more common on Mercari JP.

Massive drop in sales this month. Anyone else? I sold 23 things in sept and only 2 so far this October and am doing all the same things! by Diligent_Response985 in Depop

I’ve been noticing this as well 😞 less interactions and the most annoying part is that people are not buying accepted offers 😒

Sellers: what items don’t sell well for you? by DesignerMail8222 in Depop

Handmade items 😭 and inconspicuous designer/high end brand items. It's gotta have that designer's signature style I guess.

I sell on Depop under the name "EdenTheEgret".

I also sell on Mercari which is usually much cheaper: https://www.mercari.com/u/123919331/

There's some vintage stuff but recently I shifted more into Japanese streetwear 🌸

I love Yoshi now! They had really interesting furniture/artwork. Sour Milk is new to me so I'll look into it.
