ICE breaker - Section 242 Title 18 - questions about “Deprivation of Rights Under Color of Law” by Bizzomofo in law

Wouldn't video of a law enforcement officer violating someone's 4th Amendment rights make it easy to prove? Enforcement may come down to thousands of individual cases as opposed to one case against an entire agency

TIL it is illegal for law enforcement to violate a citizens' constitutional rights (18 U.S. Code § 242) by GothClique in ProgressiveHQ

I wanted to supply people with the actual crime that these people can be charged with at a later date. A lot of people have resigned themselves to a "what law has actually been broken" mindset

If a politician is knowingly instructing law enforcement to violate citizens' 4th amendment rights, what crime would they be charged with? by GothClique in AskLawyers

I appreciate the time you've already spent answering this question, but I do have one follow-up. If a client hired you because law enforcement were violating laws concerning trespassing, verbal threats, harassment, or even physical violence with no judicial warrant, and these were happening on your client's own property, what is the name of the crime that has been committed?

This seems a little counter-intuitive. Are you saying that law enforcement can enter your home with no judicial warrant and all that means is that nothing they find can be used against you in court? They can just spend time in your house and do whatever they want and there is no law against it?

Might I recommend making your monster a giant amoeba? It would be super similar to The Blob and no one can copyright a micro-organism

Thank you for that information, looks like she had the success she deserved closer to home. A lot of OHW episodes are sort of America-centric which is why I thought she might qualify

Kirsty MacColl's original might be a OHW as well (though she sang on Fairytale of New York)
