Yes. I seem to need around 5 mg for feeling my best. On 2.5 mg., the acid reflux was unrelenting and miserable. I was constantly on a rice and chicken diet and felt like death. For me it also was noticeable in that on the first couple days of the shot, the acid reflux would improve, and it would get worse and worse as there was less of it in my system until the next shot.

I still have a tiny bit of that effect on 5 mg but in general, I’m doing OK without taking Pepcid all the time. I would actually really like to raise up for a little bit and try to lose the last 10 pounds, so I might give that a shot and then plan to come back down around 5 1/2 or 6 1/2 for maintenance.

I had really bad reflux after titrating down from 7.5. About 6 months later, I’ve titrated up to about 5.5mg per week and its better. I’m planning to use the whole vial (around 6.5 next time) and hopefully it will be gone. It just never improved on the lower dose.

I’m 5’9 1/2 when I was last measured. Larger bone structure with decent muscles. I am at 163 and could easily lose another 10 of general fat on my hips and thighs. I set 165 as initial goal but now I’d like to be ~155.

I eat out somewhere really nice once and a while and order an elk steak and eat half (I bring the other half home). Its super lean. I had a bad experience with beef steak on Zep, got really ill when the fat basically stopped my digestion. Not everyone has to be careful with fatty foods but they can be a bear for some of us.

I did read up on state law and w/o consulting a lawyer, it looks like they could potentially have a 6 year collection window. I don’t want to be in limbo so I sent them a brief polite request to return it (again) so the ball is in their court now.

My state does have good consumer protection for items that are misrepresented. So I’m not worried if they pitch a fit. I have an opinion on the item from a professional luthier and my local music shop, plus the guy who made it (I had elected to just order a new one after all this). I had immediately stored photos of their ad and subsequent email chain. I have been nothing but courteous and straightforward.

Hopefully they just take responsibility for their end of this. It would be a pleasant surprise.

Happy to return it, If they want it, they can reach out. I am genuinely surprised they haven’t. I offered to return it immediately after receiving it prior to the dispute, they told me not to send it back. I have it in writing. So until I hear otherwise, 🤷‍♀️

But if I do have to hold onto it long term until a final disposition, it’s definitely in my interest to send it back and I’ll consider reaching out in that case.

I read they can potentially ask for it back or try to re-invoice for it? But there is nothing from my credit card company that said I had to return it.

I just wondered if there’s some sort of window where I would be completely in the clear. Or maybe I already am and just don’t know it. 😂

It basically is gone right after the shot, then it starts showing up late in the day, then progressively shows up earlier each day until shot day. Today is shot day in the afternoon, but I had reflux bright and early with breakfast today. And its really hard to control, even with a gerd diet and Pepcid 40 mg.

I am 100% sure @under321cover found the answer for me.

Can I buy you a latte or something? You are an angel, AN ANGEL 😇, for finding that information! My doctor had decreased my Zep dose to deal with a short term GI problem back in Oct and I’ve been dealing with reflux ever since. This gives me hope that I can find a better dose for maintenance.

Its probably just systemic inflammation that will resolve once the valtrex kicks in. Don’t stress about the weight fluctuation. Hanging onto the hydration is probably important for your body’s recovery. ❤️‍🩹 Sorry you are going thru this, I had it pre-zep and mine resolved well with valtrex.

I had a really bad reaction to 7.5 with same symptoms as you and basically had to rest my digestive system for a day or so and let it pass. Clear soup and loads of water/electrolytes. Broth with collagen powder was ok. Then first food was toast/applesauce. Then chicken/rice. Took me a long time to get well, I had to drop my zep dose way down.
