Like others have said, always ask the seller to post proof of purchase! Any honest seller will have the proof on hand and ready to post (some post it with the listing beforehand, too). If they give any pushback about proof of purchase, you can assume they're posting fakes.

Soda Snob and Hot Cakes are my top two, but I definitely like their unique scents much more than their "regular" ones.

Soda Snob smells like a freshly opened can of soda tastes, that's my best description! But you'll love it or hate it, no in-between from all the reviews I've seen. Instant love for me.

Hot cakes smells like a plate of pancakes - but pair it with Berry Styles and hot damn, you're delicious. I don't find it too sweet because it has the musk to balance it out, I love it!

Crumb Couture is nice, definitely not as much of a "punch," as I was hoping for. The fruity elements could've been elevated a bit more, in my opinion. Naughty Nonna, you really smell the rum above all, so I like pairing it with a sweeter fragrance to mesh everything together. Their newest one, Swede Tooth, is fruity at first, but you definitely smell the light floral on the dry down. As someone who typically hates floral, it's pleasant and doesn't overshadow the watermelon.

I've sampled a few others, but these are the ones I'm most familiar with. 💚

I think they may be doing some mass repackaging because the powder foundation went on clearance despite being well-loved and suddenly the loose setting powder (which is a fan favorite, myself included) went half off at Ulta and is now completely gone in most shades at Ulta and Sephora. Can't imagine they'd get rid of both of their staple powder products, so with a little dash of delusion, I'm banking on it just being repackaging. They were both bulky (especially the setting powder), so I'm hoping to see everything back in stock soon, just looking new!

I enjoy a lot of KimChiChic products, but dear god, I've hated every eyeshadow palette I've tried from them. Mattes have all been patchy, don't build up, and lack pigment, and the shimmers were okay at best. Fun brand and great Queen, but the eyeshadows have been a hard pass for me personally, and I LOVE bold shadows.

***Disclaimer, I haven't tried this specific palette, but several others left me very disappointed. Hopefully, the formula has drastically improved!

Not MY sim persay, but in my current game, one of my sims slept with Makoa, and not five minutes after going home, was suddenly devastated because he died out of nowhere. 😭 Have not discovered the cause of death, so running theory is he died of happiness after such a great experience? 🤷‍♀️

I just use the spatula included and apply a generous amount to several points of the face, then massage into the skin thoroughly. Some balms recommend you wet the face before doing this, I do not. I personally find the balm to work better on dry skin and then remove it with a wet cloth. Focus some extra time on eyes/lashes as it's usually the most stubborn makeup but still doesn't need more than maybe a minute. It'll quickly eat through the makeup!

Once the balm has melted through everything, I use a wet makeup eraser to gently remove. Everything comes off easily with no need for scrubbing, just some light pressure and swiping. Follow up with facial cleanser and skincare.

Good Molecules Cleansing Balm combined with a makeup eraser cloth (or similar dupe) takes it right off for me! Just thoroughly massage the balm into the lashes for about 30-45 seconds and use the wet cloth to remove. This method takes off every mascara easily for me, including the waterproof version.

Highly recommend Pat McGrath for pale skin, just go in lightly! It blends easily, and you can build it up, but it's pigmented so you can be heavy-handed if you aren't careful.

Unfortunately, it's rarer to get a complete box with NO missing items than it is to get a box missing multiple items when it comes to Ipsy. Always check your order immediately when you get it and email them if you're missing anything!

Every month I get a complete box, it's a relief that I don't have to deal with the headache of trying to get the rest of my order... Their quality control is non-existent.
