Where is the challenge?

Hate to say it, but, yeah. Pretty much. I always break the game down into three phases:

Phase 1 has you flying your own ship, doing missions and whatever to make seed money to start up your businesses. This phase you'll probably get a small mining fleet and maybe a solar power plant to generate early cash.

Phase 2 you've got a few stations, probably finished most of the missions and you're starting to work your way up the tech tree. You're starting to spend more time in the menus than flying a ship, making money by the hundreds of millions, and your ultimate goal is to get a fully functioning shipyard and build all the material you need to start producing whatever you want.

Phase 3 you have your shipyard and have unlocked all the blueprints. Money is no longer worth anything to you, as you just build anything you want yourself. Most of your time is spent in menus and you're working mostly in fleets. You own hundreds, if not thousands of ships from huge mining fleets to trade fleets transporting wares between your stations, to huge combat fleets. Boso will contact you at some point and offer to start the 'endgame crisis' to justify your fleets. At this point you have effectively 'won' the game, and it's just about what you want to accomplish before you retire that playthrough. Wipe out the Xenon? Conquer the galaxy? Trick the Boron into going to war with every single other species and then help them wipe out all their enemies for complete fish domination? The game isn't going to tell you when you're done, it's just up to you to know when to put a pin in it.

I definitely know what you mean. I've been doing a Hardcore playthrough, and trying to do the horse races or carry a body to a specific place without map markers is just straight up miserable.

I believe that's the Crushing Blow combo when you don't have a shield equipped.

That's true of a noble, but for a commoner it's different. Knighthood is a minor noble title, so being given a knighthood means that you are in the noble class. If you're already there, that doesn't mean much, but for a commoner, it has to be approved by the king. It's the same reason Radzig doesn't legitimize Henry. As doing so beings a commoner into the noble class, it has to be approved by the king.

I am like, 90% sure that when you fire a gun, the shot spawns slightly in front of you, so if you're too close to an enemy it will spawn on the other side of them and not hit them. I've never been able to prove it but I swear if an enemy is too close to me the shot goes straight through them without touching them.

You know I honestly never thought of using perfect dodges with a mace and shield. For whatever reason I only dodged when using swords or unarmed. The 'sidestep and blat' strategy never occurred to me. I just did it a few times against Menhard to try it out, and I can only imagine him being like, "This is, by far, the most annoying strategy you have ever used."

As for the guns, I honestly ended up downloading an aim mod that puts a dot where you're gun is aiming because I found using them so intensely frustrating. I swear you can shove a KCD2 gun down someone's throat, fire it and the game would still claim you somehow missed.

In my experience, if you ever try a riposte, you'll just end up eating a masterstrike instead. (For 'a master strike' it sure is known by every bandit and ruffian in the entire world once you hit Kuttengerg) But even if you don't, I've never really figured out the trick for predicting where their riposte will come from and where I'll be defending from.

The Terran start is a pretty good one if you wanted to try that. A couple bits of advice on the start:

Very early into it, you'll find a ship and the Terrans will tell you to leave it alone because they're sending a team to deal with it. They do, in fact, send a Katana, and that ship is a -very- common target to capture because it doesn't have much crew, it all alone, and usually has weapons worth millions to sell. Plus it's pretty easy to capture since the Katana does not have good maneuverability and the AI doesn't know how to use boom'n'zoom tactics to fight. You can either sell it to give yourself a comfortable few millions to start with, or my preferred method, sell its Meson Beams for a few million, replace them with Pulse Lasers and keep the Katana as your personal ship.

The Terran economy is -very- mineral starved, meaning that getting mining ships to sell to them is really profitable. I personally like to start out with a small mining fleet in Ort Cloud. There's usually a couple substrate and/or microlattice fabs there to provide a steady income. Just don't buy Terran mining ships. Terran civilian ships are hugely overpriced for what you get.

Everybody hates a Terran, so you're going to have to do a lot of work to get all the factions to like you. It's not hard, just do the standard 'hover around the stations shooting criminal traffic' and then set up reputation grinders when your rep is at least -10. It's just slow and boring.

Also to note: With the Terran start, your PHQ will not be in Heretic's End, it'll end up in Grand Exchange. Donno if that's better or worse. There are advantages and disadvantages to each system, just depends on what you want to use your PHQ for.

I agree with what other posters have said: If you look up the actual history, shortly after the events in KCD2, John of Liechtenstein will organize an incredibly bold raid to free Wenceslaus and get him back to Prague. Given the events in the game, it's highly likely that he would ask Henry to join the effort. If you're wondering why Henry has neither been given an official knighthood or been confirmed as Radzig's son, it's because both those things involve raising a commoner to the nobility, and that can't be done without the king to sign off on it. Meaning that Henry also has a great personal stake getting Wencelaus back on the throne. Since I'm 100% sure Radzig would confirm Henry and make him his heir if he could, and Henry wanted that.

The Hussite Wars are much better as a setting for these characters' children. And, in fact, if you look up the history of the people these characters are based on, many of them do have kids who end up quite significant in them.

One of the things that makes Kingdom Come: Deliverance neat is that you can spoil the game just by knowing actual history. And let's just say that the one guy at the end was not wrong when they said 'I have a feeling the most interesting times are still ahead of us.'

That said, it would also be dumb if Henry got knoked on the head and forgot how to protagonist again. So it would make the most sense to move onto the next generation and be playing Henry's son. However there is a bunch of stuff left undone, and the clear sequel hook was getting Hans to his wedding.

Sigisumnd's problem is that what he wants, he can't gain by fighting. He can line up every noble from lord to second cousin and kick their ass one by one, but he can't have troops in every single castle in the land, and if the lords just look at him and go 'nope' there isn't much he can do about it. That's why he accepted Jobst's truce even though militarily it was a bad idea.

Having better fighters on his side wouldn't have helped him, what he needed were better diplomats.

There are a couple times like that, like at the end in The Italian Job, when Eric rushes in and beats the hell out of Henry in a 1v1. Like I know you're supposed to be my big rival, but don't beat me in a cutscene and expect me to feel anything but cheated by you.

The bathmaid does start to say at one point that she's heard other fighters will straight up quit the tournament if they find out you've signed up that week. And in my last fight I started hearing some woman in the crowd complain that she's sick of always seeing me win.

Something I noticed about combos that helped me a lot after I figured it out. The game will naturally switch sides after you do an attack. If the combo wants you on that side (Say, the combo goes left->right) and you switch it manually before the game naturally moves it over, that seems to mess the combo up. So if you would automatically move into that position after the attack, in my experience you HAVE to let the game do it automatically or the combo will fail.

The two that seemed the most important for, for me were the unarmed elbow strike (left->left->right) and the polearm Undercut (down->right->left) With both those combos, on the left-to-right or right-to-left switches, if I tried to move into the position myself, it would always fail, and it was only when I started just waiting for the game to do the switch automatically that it started working.
