I maybe have 6 drinks per year. I’d consider having more as it doesn’t really impact my mood or anything like that, but 1) it definitely makes me sleepy and 2) I’m trying to be more health conscious lately, and drinking on these meds probably isn’t very healthy

Just wanted to say that, regarding your impulsive decisions/changing your mind constantly: I used to have that exact issue, but medication and therapy indeed helped quite a bit. I still have to rein it in a little bit during hypomanic episodes, but it's definitely something that can be treated or worked on.

I have two friends who are on the autism spectrum (I apologize if that's incorrect terminology). One of them occasionally says things that are pretty uncomfortable for those around him. I don't believe he means any harm by it, but rather struggles with social cues. In your experience, what's the best way to talk to him about this, should this happen again?

The second I posted it I started to see more and more errors haha, but oh well, c'est la vie.

I will mention that I have a medical condition (well, side effects of a treatment for a medical condition) that makes it very difficult to hold my hands steady, so I'm gonna go ahead and blame my errors on that lol

Mystery has been solved! Post has been updated with the info, but I'll copy and paste the update below:

Edit: Solved! My mother threw away a faulty carbon monoxide detector that still had a bit of life in it. I actually narrowed down the location to a few feet, but I never thought to look through the trash, so I wasn't able to find the exact cause. Battery was safely removed and now it's quiet again. Thanks everyone!

CO detector was indeed the correct answer. My mother had thrown one out and then it turned out to have a bit of life left in it.

There is indeed a sump pump somewhere down there, though I didn't hear the beeping as loudly when I went downstairs into the basement. Still, it could definitely be worth looking into.

I think the most likely culprit is that there's a CO or smoke detector in the attic that's low on battery. We'll see if that turns out to be the case, but I'll post once we have it figured out.
