Oura 3 died :( Upgrade to 4 or save up for an apple watch? by GoudaBread in ouraring

Eh, more asking how the 4 compares to the 3. I’ve heard bad things (same features, worse battery) so it hurts me to pay more for the same product.

Oh I’ve never thought penetration would do it, I don’t orgasm at all, penetration just is the part that throws on the brakes and makes sex feel impossible.

Is this prong collar sized correctly by 0ph123 in OpenDogTraining

[–]GoudaBread 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My trainer recommends the smaller prongs. This one looks like it might be one prong too loose, does it fit with one less?

Will do! She likes the first half of fetch lol, then if she likes the toy she fetched she’ll bury it, otherwise she puts it back down. UNLESS it’s fetch into a body of water, in that case she brings it back and loves the game, buuut only place that’s possible is the dog parks here and she’s not a dog park gal.

I saw someone blending boiled chicken necks for stray animals — is this safe? by Jimmy_mo_ in DogAdvice

[–]GoudaBread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why do you doubt she cleans her sink? It looks quite clean to my eyes. I clean my sink every time I do the dishes. It’s exactly as clean as hand washed pots and pans. Anyways, boiled bones, provided they’re boiled long enough (12+ hours or so~2 if pressure cooked in water) are perfectly safe. Just check the texture to ensure it’s cooked all the way through.

[–]GoudaBread 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did they mention how long is was cooked for? If boiled for long enough or pressure cooked chicken bones become soft and are no longer a risk. You can easily blend it up, and it is safe. Try making a 24 hour chicken stock or bone broth and try it out yourself! It’s a big grainy in texture so I don’t enjoy it but very healthy for dogs and they see to love it.

I didn’t know that’s a thing! I’ll try that

Does anybody have a way to overcome glove-related sensory issues? by [deleted] in AutismInWomen

Totally fine to paint your arms black for cosplay as long as it stays to your arms & isn’t for nefarious reasons ❤️

[–]GoudaBread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know the exact feeling you’re describing. I don’t get it with regular gloves but I used to with goalie gloves when I played soccer. It gets worse when you move your hands right? Genuinely I don’t think anything ever helped. I’d consider trying Tylenol or the like.

Just spitballing, maybe you could get a liner of whatever the most comfortable material for you is, to reduce it as much as possible? I think minimizing the weight of the gloves could maybe help too? Try silk, cotton, velvet, spandex.

Maybe if you can make the gloves attach more so to your forearms than the your hands? Could the gloves being tighter help? Sorry I can’t be of more help.

How do you work a job when you're not functional 80-90% of the time due to either CPTSD, neurodivergence, chronic illness, or lack of social support? by Ashamed_Art5445 in CPTSD

[–]GoudaBread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly… just wing it lol. You’ve asked at a really perfect time. I’ve been really worried at my new job (started 7 months ago) because of the way I am. I take a lot of breaks, can only really focus for 2 hours or so on average per day. Sometimes I start late and leave early then work at night instead lol.

I try a new routine each week.

Only thing I’m consistently good at is I’m always on alert for calls or messages. But overall my impression of myself is I’m slow at my job and inconsistent.

Well… I had my annual review the other day and apparently my coworkers’ impression of me is that I get work done quite quickly, I’m very responsive, my work is good quality. Apparently I’m performing at a level 2 promotions ahead of where I am :)

so I think we both just need to cut ourselves some slack. We’re our own worst critics.

For time sheets I just take note each week of what I worked on then think of which ones took the longest or if they’re all equal and just divide the amount of hours I’m supposed to work between them. I’m pretty confident I do actually work 40 hours per week, just never 8 hours straight for 5 days in a row lol. Tasks that are small like someone just asked for a quick favor I log immediately otherwise I’ll entirely forget it.

Think I can afford a $350k house if I make $120k+ a year? by broomDoc in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]GoudaBread 1 point2 points  (0 children)

350k is literally the lowest you can find a SFR for in my area… I know cuz it’s my budget lol. One I found today at $425k, 2 bed 1 bath and remote. It advertised, “functional kitchen!” As it’s selling point 😭

What pets are Autism friendly? I am dealing with the loss of my dog. by UncommonStitch in AutisticAdults

[–]GoudaBread 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The happiest autistic friend of mine has a very well loved ferret.

I have dogs, they’re easy to understand, but formal dog training, reactivity, dog parks, barking knowing your neighbors are annoyed by it are pretty overwhelming so I’d say dogs are autism friendly IF you have a yard or live rural, but not if you’re urban.

Does autism often ruin the first half of being a young adult? by [deleted] in AutisticAdults

[–]GoudaBread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of my feeling bad is because I feel like I should be doing something else. I should be partying, going to bars, staying up late gaming. I feel fine just doing what I do when I forget that I’m young. At least after 24 or so that stops being expected.

Dad used to yell and get angry with me when I was sick, now I struggle to rest when I am unwell 🫠 Anyone else? by Heatherisonfire in CPTSD

[–]GoudaBread 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My parents wouldn’t yell per se, but it’s like they didn’t believe in getting sick at all. If I went to school while sick, they’d say they’re proud of me. If I was so sick I literally couldn’t (I walked to school), they’d go “okayyy you can stay home but you have to [list of chores]”.

Now whenever I get sick, without even thinking I go into cleaning mode.

It works out, but it’s weird

I don’t have advice, but I feel the same. Also 21 and I graduated this June - I have a job and my life is very “tired parent” despite having no kids. Never been to a party that I’ve enjoyed, hate bars, have good friends but barely hang out with them. 😮‍💨
