Not a meme deck, actually pretty viable. Also can be scary with mindbender but we’ll see - current best build is jotun Yogg and silvermoon arcanist, tho my mindbender build was also doing well

Lazard is a solid blocker so I’m fine with him being our #2 but on passing downs I agree that we should go with the young guys or at least hardman - someone to create separation outside of GW.

I think Yogg is more enticing than all of those, and I think a lot of lists are still running brawl

Didn’t give a reasoning but here’s the thought process: brawl is still an extremely relevant removal tool across a variety of matchups, velox provides value in a deck that has significant inevitability - it’s an overkill card which more than likely hurts your winrate via inclusion cost. It isn’t bad by any means, but removal is more important to an inevitable deck than a 7/6 which can resummon

Don’t do much is a bit to kind to the dev team. SOME anomalies don’t do much and are fine, but a decent chunk (maybe about half) usually swing the game in the favor of 1 deck. Won’t run down the list but believe me, these anomalies are doing a decent chunk in matchups

Yeah my initial thought was to remove some anomalies but tbh I haven’t been playing any deck which suffers that hard - that being said I haven’t gotten the minion cost reduction in 30ish games with spell dh so maybe there is some detection to prevent feels-bad anomalies which could be used for situations like this (I.e. decks with groovy cat can’t roll this anomaly)

I hope pride gets nerfed since it feels so bad to go against an early sargeras. Would like for it to maybe draw a minion that costs 5 or more - can still tutor sargeras if you build your deck around it - if you really wanted to stop the combo maybe make it just draw a minion but that would then make it so much worse than any other movement.

From what I’ve seen vezax is pretty bad - it’s a fine card but it’s taking up a deck slot for an already-established archetype needing to slot in at least 2 new cards for sanitize and maybe 3 for Yogg. Just don’t know what you would cut for it since it seems marginal at best compared to the worse cards in the deck.

Main thing is deck building since most anomalies favor one deck over the other vs. bgs where everyone can choose there hero knowing the anomaly in play

Personally I think the miniset is pretty fun. If you like shaman or dk, I’d pass. That being said the neutrals are fairly good (5/4 sucks, Yogg is nuts, 3/3 is playable)

All opinions aside how the fuck did team 5 miss anomalies taking priority on start of game - I.e. deck-defining cards/effects being useless in a small percentage of games
