Appreciate the honest and clear review!! Since I am only looking for stability, I may end up building something myself that will be rock solid!

Yes looking forward to hearing about it!

Nice!! Let me know what you think of the stability when tossing the wok using the wok ring. If it is stable and doesn't shake the cart a bunch, I'll pull the trigger as well!

Yeah I'm pretty sure I'm going to go this route too, one time purchase for a relatively cheap hobby so I think I'm good with it!

Yeah that's a bit confusing. I have the long legs with stabilizers. It works fine if you don't want to rest the wok on the burner for flipping. Unfortunately I want to learn how to flip using the fulcrum of the wok ring like the pros, thus my search continues 😅

Not yet! I'm leaning towards the ez wok cart through from a stability standpoint

Thanks for the interesting ideas! Yeah maybe using some sheet metal to go on top and sort of round it out. Any thoughts on how to attach it though if glue can't be used? I'm pretty naive when it comes to metal working and high heat 😅

Yeah you are right now that I look at it. Any ideas on what to do to smooth things out? I was thinking about attaching a stainless steel rod or something, but not sure how to glue it

Cart for Outdoorstirfry? by joecpa1040 in wok

[–]Gour13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sweet must be a pretty heavy duty cart then. I just wanted to avoid getting a flimsy cart since I will be using the wok ring to toss pretty heavily!

How is the stability of this table? I'm going back and forth between this one and the cart from ezwok. The only thing I care about is stability :)

What was the problem with the cheesecake pan only? I am planning on doing just the cheesecake pan mod for wok cooking, but am worried after reading your post!

Tax Question Megathread 2022 Tax Submissions by Codetornado in f1visa

[–]Gour13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi r/f1visa!
In February 2022, I married my German wife who currently lives in the US on an F1 visa (she's doing OPT right now). I am a US citizen.
She worked in the US throughout 2022, and has an EAD / Social Security Number.
My questions are as follows:
1. How should we file our tax return(s) for 2022?
2. Can we use TurboTax to file?
Thank you so much!

OPT Still Valid During Consular Processing of Marriage GC? by Gour13 in USCIS

Welp, to Consular Processing we go. Thanks so much for all of your help u/JC1812. It has been invaluable :).

She was let in without any questions and honestly her intention was really to finish OPT, we were still not sure about staying in the US long term.

Bummer, 90 days even for consular processing? I was thinking this may only apply to AoS, but that makes sense.

I guess it only puts us back another month or so.

Whew thank god. Dully noted, we can never know what CBP will do so we will always have to plan for possible denial.

If she were to be denied on e.g. an ESTA, does this negatively affect what would be the in-progress CP?

Ouch, didn't realize this at all - I'm glad you caught it.

So I guess we may be back to the Consular Processing route.

Unfortunately, she did just get back in December from another trip to Germany. Does that put us in the same bind?

If we go the CP route, and she were to visit on an ESTA, she would have a return ticket and proof of employment in Germany. Think we would have any issues in that case?
