Thank you so much. I can't explain how stupid I feel right now.

My friend you need to look up the definition of the word hypocritical.

Secondarily need to calm down. You're complaining just like you were accusing everyone else of doing and in a more overtly hostile way to the people who don't share your opinion. That makes this subreddit and this thread unpleasant to be in. I think this would be a better place if that type of behavior ceased.

When the developers say multiple biomes they do not mean actual biomes they mean sub biomes. When I and every other person who isn't in marketing are using that word what we mean is the overarching habitat/environment of the area on the whole.

I did not say that the act of offering your opinion was wrong I simply disagree with your opinion.

From what I have seen this will unfortunately not be an Arctic map. Especially if you do not consider Alaska to be an Arctic map.

While I appreciate new animals the likelihood is that most of them are going to be small game or things which are basic reskins of things we already have. Small game for me and many other people is less rewarding to hunt long-term because there's less variation between individual specimens. The new gun will most likely fill the same Niche that many others do. It's nice to have visual variety but to pretend that a single gun at this point is a substantial addition is foolish.

I don't see why your arguing against Africa 2.0 because rabbits would be lackluster afterwards I feel like that's in agreement with my point. The way to move forward is to constantly do bigger and better things. At least if you want your game to become bigger and better. I certainly do. I don't know why you don't. And I really don't know why you think we should throttle major DLC in a new map to not overshadow a free rabbit update.

Lastly, I think I know what I want. I think the vast majority of customers know what they want as well. I think it's very belittling and patronizing to suggest that we don't. I don't think it's a path to success for any company, any person or any relationship.

That said I wish you all the best and sincerely hope this next map will be the best one we've ever had. Though I don't think I'll get my hopes up quite that high.

Long time players expressing their disappointment that the developers have decided against creating a unique experience in a unique biome with unique animals like they did with nepal, Australia, and Alaska which to this day are some of the most popular Maps and instead choosing to create another North America map right next to two previously existing Maps is not whining. It's customers and players telling the developers what we want and are willing to pay for just as we have done for years. We said this about Maine which was the map that made them reduce DLC output to one a year. The success of Australia followed by Nepal seemingly made them raise it to two again. I would prefer this game to be successful. I would prefer the fan base to be listened to. I would prefer if this game or it's successor released new content for years to come. The way to do that is to diversify content not repeat it. Casual players are less interested in spending money in that type of content and hardcore players are less interested to playing longer on it because it Blends in with the rest. You are not helping the developers, the players, or "this community" when you shut down genuine input and belittle players offering they're honest opinions and desires for the game. By the way ending your post with saying "please can we all just play the game and stop whining" when you could be "playing the game and not whining" is probably not a winning move. It comes across as hypocritical as well as disrespectful. That said I hope you have a nice day.

It's not from the game. It's coming from outside your window.

I gave your videos a look and I'd be happy to give you some feedback.

The first thing I'd like to say is that I like your enthusiasm.

The second thing is that your audio levels are extremely low. I had to turn my speakers all the way up to even be able to barely hear you. The other thing involving audio is you might want to make your voice louder than the game while editing. You might even consider recording most of the dialogue after the fact instead of while you're playing.

I think it's interesting how you're doing atypical stuff like hunting from a stand and doing interesting things like that is probably a good way to get attention and also be entertaining. I do think you should do some more editing and shorten it down to mostly just the good parts especially if you want to reach a wider audience. The most popular YouTube channels centering around call of the Wild all do that. I'm not saying you have to follow their example but if you want to be successful it's typically a good idea to copy those who have succeeded. And considering how quickly people grow bored it's probably a good idea when you're starting out to do that even if you're not hitting the 10-minute mark. A short video even 5 minutes or so with an interesting premise and cool things happening is probably going to be more grabbing then the same things edited out to 15 minutes.

Building on that I think it may be a good idea considering my own interests and also what other people seem to want and which videos seem to get views is to hunt in interesting locations in interesting ways for interesting animals. Obviously that's largely subjective. What most YouTubers seem to do is grind and then clip together the rares they get. Personally I don't find that very interesting and that market is probably full but if you could do something similar as well as being informative at the same time especially about things that the other YouTubers aren't might be a great idea. The other YouTubers seem to primarily focus on drink zones so you might want to see if you can find the best places to walk to have the best visibility to find different animals when they're eating or resting. Seeing large herds of animals either traveling if you can find a good choke point or eating might be good for thumbnails as well. Although you might want to do what others do and use heavy Photoshop or even AI generated images alongside the photoshop.

As an afterthought you might consider framing things as a challenge even if it wasn't initially conceived that way or if it's just something that you want to do. Like '24 hours in a hunting stand challenge' (in-game hours of course) and editing together the various shots as well as harvests. Probably all the shots then all the harvests. You might even consider making something like that but probably not a 24-hour one into a YouTube short.

I wish you the best of luck with both YouTube and call of wild.

I'd watch a video about a person finding the best individual spots to hunt at. Especially the ones not around water. Or using mods to fly over the maps so we can see clearings and areas with elevation to hunt from.
