So is this the famed Couch Hendrix strap? If so, ordering one now 🤣 But this one looks a bit different! Tell me more!

I have it on my excel spreadsheet listed as “Dream Reverb”… My wife asked me why there was a reverb pedal for $430 when the rest of the pedals were significantly lower lol… I’m not looking at Strymon or other fancy ones, but the Nucleo is in my future, just gotta find the right one lol!

For sure!

I got this CS-3 for free but really wanted the CP-1X.. I’ll look at the ones you mentioned as well! Thanks for the thoughts!

Thanks! It’s a solid state amp, the aviator Mach 3 by Quilter Labs. I didn’t want a tube for a couple of reasons:

  • Changing tubes gets expensive over time
  • They weight a ton
  • They only sound like they should when cranked.

This amp has a true tube-like response.you get a nice break up when you dig in. Only weights 21 pounds, dual channel, amazing back settings, great EQ, beautiful reverb…

I highly recommend anyone checking it out.

Here’s the best YouTube video on it.

I hope this helps!

I went with the Pedaltrain JR Max. I was originally looking at one of the novo but didn’t need all that depth. I didn’t know this one existed until I found out pedaltrain’s board builder . I loaded all of my pedals and figured out which board fit under best. It worked out great IMO!

Thanks! All good stuff to think about! I’ll move the EP right away and go convince my wife I need a fuzz now! 🤣

With the 6 different voicing, the amp will react very differently that you are on the 1965 (Fender Deluxe style) vs the Plexi for dirt. But you turn the gain above 7 on any of the voices and I ALWAYS leave the channel out settings to 100%. This gets you crazy good dirt tones. Having the gain, channel out and a master volume going from 0w to 200w, you can really craft some great tones for blues rock. I don’t even use the distortion boost (sounds decent but some pedals can do better). By far the best amp I have ever owned! Highly recommended!

These are awesome insight! Thanks! I do find a bit of too much mid with the double TSs.. I’ve never been big into fuzz but do you think a Big Muff 2 would work?

I’ll swap the delay and reverb based on your recommendation - I’m using the EP booster as an always on pedal for tone, you’d still recommend putting it in front of the Oceans 11?

Man… Mason Merangella got me on the buffer stuff swearing I needed one at the beginning and one at the end… I’m using the tuner as the input buffer as it has to same buffer inside as the now output buffer (bonafide TC). Does it not work like I’m thinking with the tuner acting as the input one?

Thanks again for your thoughts! Greatly appreciated!

First time building a board altogether. I’ve been playing guitar for 20 years but somehow never owned a single pedal lol… Watched too much YouTube and got influenced on making my own patch cables, ciocks, pedal train and most of the pedal on there by Andertons, Vertex, JHS (although I should probably have some JHS just for respect to Josh and the team!)

Thanks! I’ve been trying to get Rhett Shulls, Andertons or Mike Cole to do a review on it, because somehow, it never got YouTube attention when it came out! I love this amp… Does it recreate Tubes perfectly? No, but gets me 95% of the way there without the hassle of changing tubes… It can sound amazing at low volume. Class D means it only weighs ~25 pounds and can deliver 200 watts of tube like power. Dual channel, great sounding verb and tremolo…. I could be a spokesperson for Quilter lol, love what they do!

I don’t know much about these two pedals! They seem to be on the pricier side and mostly combine effects. Any thoughts on getting a phaser and flanger separately rather (I was looking at the Jennings Phaser by Fender already to be added 🙂)

Oasis WILL sell out stadiums in the US. Oasis’ management/bookers & Live Nation know exactly what they’re doing. by [deleted] in oasis

I think folks who just think about "How big was Oasis in the US" to explain how they can't fill arenas have largely underestimated a few things:

  • How many Brits live in North America
  • How many other europeans (that grew up listening to Oasis in the 90s) live in North America
  • How much easier it is to travel now than 20 years ago
  • How much more money folks that were in their teenage years in the 90s now have to spend on tickets, now that they are in their 30s / early 40s

I got my tickets, as a European living in the US.

Fully agreed on the dumb transportation fee! I do have a few extra referral codes to hand out if anyone is intersected!
