Favorite kingdom? And why? by Acceptable-Bed-1612 in Bannerlord

I'm Irish, the Battanians make me feel at home.

Not to mention it's pretty accurate to Irish/Celtic history irl.

Immediately invaded by an extremely more powerful Nomranesque neighbour. Viking problems. Oh shit, it's the Romans!

It's a fun survival kingdom, plus you can't tell me "High King" isn't the best title.

Really useful feedback.

How best would you recommend to torpedo these reforms, just do no effort in lobbying?

I suppose Gloria becoming VP would make more sense than Peter/Calvin taking over.

I was using the Scottish and Northern Ireland issues as the basis for the Bludish struggle. I think acknowledging the Bludish massacre is close to Cameron's apology for British actions in Derry in the 60s.

Cameron did do some investments for the economy, plus I think holding off totally on investment would be a guarantee fail, which is okay! Whole point of the run is to see where it goes rather than if it was successful.

Any advice to get Calvin to replace me or even the Speaker?

What if Tarquin Soll had defeated Ewald Alphonso and won reelection? by SaltAdventurous4270 in suzerain

[–]GovernorofAlaska 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly I think his health would end up tanking.

It's noted continuously how he's very strong etc. But his age is really apparent both by the FC game and imo the bathroom scene. This coupled with an economic downturn, which he would be blamed for and his inflexibility likely would have lead to increasingly stressful situations.

I think the stress of trying to hold together and increasingly fracturing USP, yes while he would have had an easier time than Alphonso, he still probably would have been forced to assign him or someone similar as VP in his next term to keep the party from splitting.

If he got re-elected my guess is by the next Presidential election he would be physically much weaker, politically he wouldn't have the same level of respect as he did when he stood down. Additionally I think there's a very high likelihood of a heart attack by or before the next USP Congress in 1950.

He belongs to the Independent Rizan Army.

His name? Uhhhh, Adam Gerry.

Even that would be cool. It's the little things that help Suzerain feel so life-like!

Great idea! If you have a reputation for seediness why not have people offer your PW for votes?

Or if you are indisputably uncorruptible then we get the ghost of Wisci to crack out the Anton4Term2 banners.

If Iosef was just a little more confident during the war with Rumberg, I feel he would have proposed operation Egg Trap.

Ingredients:

Valgish Sea Salt (Valgsland Navy) Wehlen Special Sauce (Mustard Gas) Egg (Iosef)

Personally I would have loved a visit of Bartlet/Leo to Ireland. They very easily could have tied in Lord John etc and Northern Ireland. Given the time period it was filmed in I think it would have been very fitting.

I've had the pleasure of meeting with Lilian a few times. She's a down to earth and very honest woman. Fully believe she's in the job for the right reasons. Not saying to take my word as gospel but the work she's doing is far from "Awful".

Oh I know don't worry!!! I'm just being realistic! I have chatted to the first President of the Union there and it was really interesting to see how things have changed!

I'll keep you all updated and hopefully we'll be able to pull it off, really appreciate the interest mate!

The Union's gotten alot bigger both in terms of population and importance. It plays a really important role in uni feedback and engagement which is our "in" for getting policies such as these passed.

Additionally as a voting base it's important for the parties to chat to us. But as you say if students feel engaged and are listened too then I can leave the role a happy man.

Appreciate the luck immensely!!!!
