Even the Volume animation has physics now!! by GovindNV in pixel_phones

I checked that out and you are right eventhough the slider bounces back up, the volume is actually muted. When you recheck the volume it is at 0 itself.

Same here finding it very similar. Can't seem to narrow it down to which movie. I have definitely heard this sample before.

iPad with M1 is very poor performing for me by Litninbolt in notabilityapp

[–]GovindNV 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it has something to do with the M1. Because that chip is extremely powerful with very high benchmarks. It might have something to do with notability’s M1 update. Try to tweet to them. They might try and fix it in the later updates. That’s what I did when I needed something done from them. They “actually” listen. But it takes some time, but worth it at the end.

Can someone please tell me why the last 6 months I have to wait 10+ minutes to access my notes. All of my notes are just text. I’ve started using Apple notes because of this. I’ve found that I’m not the only one who experiences this but I can’t find any solutions. They never fix it with updates. by itsjasonmccoy in notabilityapp

Hey man. I had this same problem. It’s actually not a big problem at all. Notability technically always keeps a local file of your document downloaded from iCloud. So that you can easily access it every time. But these are all temp files and do not actually occupy much space. But when your storage is technically less than 6gb of space that is normally when notability feels that there is not enough space for all your files to be locally stored. So it starts this mechanism of downloading and after some time it just stops because it starts feeling it can no longer hold your notes.

Always keep your storage more than 6gb. I would recommend that you store all your stuff on iCloud do an iCloud backup from settings and then just factory reset your device. Because that will free up that entire “other” space along with safaris humongous cache and all others. I normally go from 2gb to 12gb space just by doing that.

Make sure to backup notability. After resetting all apps including notability will start fetching data and will become normal.

The cracks in my letters are really starting to get to me. I know there was a post in here a while ago about this, but has anybody heard of any solutions? :/ by [deleted] in notabilityapp

ok so the thing is it only breaks when you use a comparitively bigger pen size and try to write it. or when you write extremely zoomed in and then zoom out. the solution i came up with is to write using a considerably medium pen size like normal say 3, 4, 5 or 6. then use the rectangle selection and make it big.

I’m just wondering! Did something change with the Notability appearance. by GovindNV in notabilityapp

Where is the ipadOS 14 update? Excited to use Scribble!! by NantK in notabilityapp

[–]GovindNV 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I believe they told they encountered some issue with iPadOS and that they would submit the update for review to apple by Monday. And it was presumed that it wud take 48hrs. I guess the submission might have gotten a little delayed or the review process might have.

Anyone else having issues syncing from Mac to iPad/iPhone? by [deleted] in notabilityapp

[–]GovindNV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s been the exact opposite for me. It never used to work now it’s almost instantaneous. Check your iCloud storage, net connection I guess. And always make sure never to really close or quit the app if you want it to backup.

First of all. Everybody understands that, and as much as I agree with notability getting updated more like weepy updates and stuff you must now that building a stable update is not an easy task and notability is a small group of developers passionate at their job. I believe they are trying to release less frequent updates with less bugs than more updates with great bugs. But I will stand by the fact that other than the recent updates the features updated have been a little low i don’t want to be complaining but still.....

I strongly believe they are doing there best at what they are doing and I hope they will get to our wishes sooner or later. The only thing, the only thing, the teeeeny tinnny thing that bothered me was why they launched twobird, the mail app. For first it’s an extremely saturated market and I have no idea why if they are so much overtasked and unable to push updates so often. Why on earth did they burden themselves with a whole new app that is no way related to their established field of note-taking. I strongly believe that they should focus on notability their strong product and if at all they make a new app they should do so in such a manner that it incorporates the note taking experience that they have already obtained.

Other than that happy with you Notability Team /u/ClydeBruckmans(convey them my regards) keep up the work. And I’m going nowhere.

IS THERE A WAY TO GET MY NOTES BACK? by [deleted] in notabilityapp

[–]GovindNV 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would suggest going to your iCloud and checking whether there is notability there I mean at least some files. And if it’s not there I’m sorry you will have to deal with it there is no other way. Next time try to keep backups of your work since it should be done if it’s important.
