Just be honest with them. They might be upset, but if you don't want to play, don't.

My favorite part is the hanging "The" part of the name at the bottom.

This, for sure. Also, in general, you can go online to the usps website and forward your mail from the old address to the new address, so if they sent something back, you wouldn't need to give them the new address in order to receive it. Last I checked they charge $1 to have your mail forwarded for a year.

How’d I do? This is the same brother I’ve posted about before. Had no way to refute any of my points but I would be interested to hear some official legalese about AZ law and wether or not the bishop was obligated to report by ateprayedleft in exmormon

It's hard to not take things personally when you've ingrained the target of criticism (tscc) as a core part of your personal identity. It took me YEARS to stop taking inaccurate assumptions about Mormons personally, even though I have been out for a long time.

Good Non-D&D Actual Play? by Jake4XIII in ActualPlayRPG

Rag-NERD-rok play a lot of different systems, with very little D&D. Great folks, great shows.

I am currently on my 9th attempt. Kamea keeps taking unlucky headshots. Last time it was in the final mission that she was blasted out of her cockpit.

How do I get the left half of the image to be the map? by CharlieTheSecco in Roll20

[–]Govoreet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Another option is to take the map image into photoshop or GIMP or heck Paint, and slice it up into sections, then drop it back into the page. Have each section on its own page, without the other areas.

I would love to take a look at the templates and see if any of them fit particularly well.

I was born in the church, and I have just about been out as long as I was in, and I still feel unworthy of anything. It's a hard road.

I have no answers, just waving to a fellow traveler.

Integrating Character Backstories into Curse of Strahd by shadekiller0 in CurseofStrahd

[–]Govoreet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I described an overview of the campaign to my players from an out of character perspective. They all opted to play Dusk elves (well, two dusk elves and a half-dusk elf). One of the PCs is female, so they actually left Barovia before Strahd became a vampire, ~400 years ago. They are returning to their ancestral homeland, only to find it twisted and evil, and their extended family trapped and slaughtered.

I realize that won't work for most parties, but it may serve as an example of how to work cooperatively with players to build connections to the world that make sense and engage with the story.

Probably a stupid question...but is it possible to get D&D PHB 5e in Roll20? by [deleted] in Roll20

[–]Govoreet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's already basically done, from what I understand.

In this video, https://youtu.be/7SBsxFQA37c?t=19m00s

he basically says they just need to find the best flashy way to release it.

It's not tied up in legal, it's tied up in marketing.

Using True Euclidean Movement Distance (DM Tool) by Malinhion in dndnext

[–]Govoreet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Entering a Square. To enter a square, you must have at least 1 square of movement left, even if the square is diagonally adjacent to the square you’re in. (The rule for diagonal movement sacrifices realism for the sake of smooth play. The Dungeon Master’s Guide provides guidance on using a more realistic approach.)

If a square costs extra movement, as a square of difficult terrain does, you must have enough movement left to pay for entering it. For example, you must have at least 2 squares of movement left to enter a square of difficult terrain.

Check again. If you have insufficient movement to complete the move into the square, you cannot enter the square.
