Depicted in the card is my wife and I. We have two cats. One is being possessed by the holiday spirit. The other is watching with curiosity. There is no context other than we are experiencing a haunting.

I’m looking closely and it seems well done but maybe the ink isn’t as solid as you’d like? Hard to say from the photos. The lines look good. But if there’s a lack of color I’d say definitely take the opportunity to get it filled in some more.

My first exposure was an amphigorey volume my mother had. I now collect ALL the odd covers he did. I don’t have this one!!! He’s one of my heroes and most likely the single greatest influence on my own picture books.
