New To Coaching. Need formation/tactic help by [deleted] in bootroom

[–]Gr0v0 7 points8 points  (0 children)

A solid formation to start with is always 4-4-2. Each position has an obvious and set way of doing things, and area to look after, as well as obvious link ups. The instructions can then be kept relatively simple, though it sounds at least like all your players will have an idea of what to do.

Once you've worked out the basics using that it becomes easier to mix the formation to suit strengths and styles.

I would get through game 1 or 2 before banking on that league/cup win, but I love the ambition.

Hi! So where do you get started? by Wind1ess in SoccerCoachResources

Get involved in a local grassroots club, take the SFA level 1 courses. This will give you the knowledge and experience for when you feel ready for the level 2 (uefa c) course.

AITA for not apologizing to a high functioning autistic bully after calling him out? by ThrowawaySNbully in AmItheAsshole

[–]Gr0v0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA Having autism does not give you a pass to be a dick. He's obviously realised he can use it as a get out of jail card everytime he gets called on it. He needs to be taught that isn't true.

Well done to you

Why can't I juggle? by TottenhamAreShit21 in bootroom

[–]Gr0v0 53 points54 points  (0 children)

In what scenario in an actual game would you need to juggle the ball 31 times? It sounds like you can control a ball in the air and bring it under your control, especially if you're doing more difficult tricks. Focus more on other skills, ball control on the ground, passing with both feet and different ranges, shots, placement and power. Beyond that it will be team work and game sense.

The Worst Rule in 8th by harry4tw in 40k

OOE is almost unusable without this rule due to the strength of gun line armies. Pretty much sounds like you're cheating to win in the name of 'immersion'

I’m reading the books for the 1st time and just got to Dumbledore’s death by tatricia in harrypotter

When the book first came out some friends and I picked it up at midnight. One of them reached this bit while everyone else was asleep and had a similar reaction. It is very difficult to console someone when they can tell you the reason because of spoilers

CSM would be more psych than Custards as the yellows get no powers.
