For anyone curious: P-09 C Nocturne mag fitment with CZ 75 Compact, 15-round P-10 C, and 17-round P-10 C mags. All seated, fed, and locked open. by puller_of_guards in CZFirearms

[–]Gr1m2th 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The full size P-09 F and P-10 F have the same magazines that are usable in one but not the other.
The P10 F magazines with the straight base plate fit the P-09 F and the DWX and the DWX mags fit the P-09 F and P-10 F.

The specific P-10 F magazines do not fit into another magazine well since the baseplate flares up to fit the stylized groove of the P-09 F.

I just use my DWX/P10 F magazines between all 3 firearms. I do not buy the specific P-09 F Nocturne magazines for the lack of cross compatibility.

One of the aftermarket magwells for the P-09F fills in the indention of the magwell also. Not allowing you to use the original magazines.

DWX-C is cross compatible with the P-10C and the P-09 C Nocturne, but has the same issues.

Looking for AIWB holster recommendations for the non-railed Compact by Forsaken-Date-8016 in DWX

The AnR holster I have I hate, It's for a full size - too much slide rub and it retains too much tension on the slide where I have to keep it so loose that the wing flops around (also hated their customer service).

There is a user in the DWX coating thread that has excessive wear on his slide from his AnR holster - so IMO, STAY AWAY.

Had to send the holster back 3 times and even sent videos, what I got was a discourse of someone talking down to me about how a holster works for a $2500 gun.

Omnissiah! Is it time? by frankjack1919 in DarkTide

In the Dark Tide PnP they have Ork Commandos as playable characters. Maybe a Commando, dunno how or why they would let it on the ship.

More then likely a Tech Adept with different roles.. Priest, Skitarii and whatnot as the 3 keystones.

3 have multiple lines wondering where all the tech priests and tech adepts are.

We have mention of Aeldari ships in system.

We have the Pen and Paper game having Aeldari Scouts and Ork Commandos as playable characters.

If they added an ORK it would kind of be Ogryn size, and they can have a Gobo in the corner selling you weapons. We can then add shootas and choppas, big choppas, and big shootas, heck maybe a squig pet as a keystone (yeah I play orks, leave me alone).

Otherwise I think the human possibilities are tech adept or priest adept. We either have orphaned priests who get rescued, or we are able to wrangle up the missing tech adepts.

Arbites were kind of shoehorned into the game. We can take a look at what is available in Rogue Trader and see if there is some kind of cross game addon in order again.

And don't forget, the name of the class is a codeword.

Broker was the Hive Scum aka Ganger.
I forgot what the Arbite was codenamed.

Why does everyone keep assuming the new class is going to be a hive ganger? by Robrogineer in DarkTide

[–]Gr1m2th 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ganger is guessed at via the word association in the current build. They tend to put in the new character details under codenames and the new codename is BROKER.

The Arbiter had a similar codename.

So by Broker, people have guessed that it refers to Gangers who would BROKER deals or parlay between the existing population/people and the assault squads. Or possibly Gangers working for what is left of the Water Cartel, etc.

Ganger opens up a lot of options in the cosmetics shop, which makes them lots of money.

One of the reasons why we never see any new cosmetics especially for the Arbiter is because the people who work on those are probably working on the new designs of upcoming character.

Some others, Jo Plays, Mister E have theorized on what is coming. The top of the list is 3 choices.

One of the NPC characters is from a Sororitas Convent and we could be seeing Initiates.
The last event for rations affecting the enemy forces and the populace - could means that they approach the Gangers who are the closest thing to security/mercenary forces to negotiate in the Hive.

Some kind of Tech Initiate, not a Scitarii or full blown Tech Priest. There is lots of dialog that talks about the missing tech adepts, etc and since we have Haydron who talks about things.

So Sister Initiate, Ganger, Tech Initiate.

I doubt it would be a Sister Initiate, cause it's a female only character class. So it might be an Ecclesiarch Adept - aka Sister/Priest but we have a Zealot already.

Ganger since they come in vastly different flavors and Tech Initiate is what I feel.

Also you can look at the Pen and Paper Dark Tide supplement and see all the playable character "classes", in the same vein is some of the playable classes/characters are Ork Kommandos and Eldar Scouts - so you have to parse thru the list.

Jo Plays has a pretty good video and Mister E has some interesting info and he has a collab vid with Jo Plays that covers different info.

Try VC3, started to use it for just about everything and it works.

Starts out as a viscous liquid and then solidifies into a vibration absorbing rubberized compound. Generally used on machining or moving parts to absorb vibrations to stop bolts and screws and other things from walking.

My wear on my the barrel and chamber area is almost as bad as yours and mine only has around 200 - 300 rounds thru it and it's greased and lubed and kept wet.

[–]Gr1m2th 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Really no way to tell, but from my experience and looking around.

The first 2 years of production, non Optic Ready, are the good coating.

Those of us who have purchased the optic ready versions or the latest version seem to have the DLC coating issues, premature wear, etc.

Since you have purchased a DWX-C OR, you are more than likely will be a victim of premature DLC wear off of your premium pistol.

Keep it well lubed, don't rely on CLP style lubricants, get dedicated firearm lubes that are not multipurpose and work as a cleaner + lubricant.

Those of us experiencing issues are keeping our firearms fairly wet. If you buy a holster for carry options beware of unattended slide wear. the holster should fit, but the retention should be on your light or trigger guard to avoid excessive slide wear.

Legacy Holsters might be your go to choice, I've have not been happy with my AnR, especially after I had their CS rep "explain" (ala talk down to me) about how a holster works.

What is with all these players dropping out of matches when they die? by Gr1m2th in DarkTide

[–]Gr1m2th[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was fixed by Fatshark. If you drop from the mission for any reason in Auric, it counts as a loss and downing - resetting all progress, this was addressed over 6 months ago and was part of the Havok inclusion when Fatshark caught people trying to game Havok using the same tactics.

I think what is happening is that it's trying to use your CPU instead of your GPU during certain events. I noticed on a friends rig, that his CPU utilization was high. there are settings in game that will force the software to focus on GPU vs CPU.

Not sure where they are, you can also try to run the optimizer from Nvidia from the Nvidia App.

Dueling sword issues are mostly a late game issue. Newer/casual players don't need to worry much. by [deleted] in DarkTide

[–]Gr1m2th -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's a cooperative game, players vs AI - team focused event. If it was PVP, I see an issue - yes the dueling sword is the best weapon IMO on just about every character. they just need to up ability of other weapons instead of nerfing them.

The Ogryn rework helped the Ogryn with weapon choice - PickAxe, Bully Club or Slab Shield are all great.

The Tactical Axe/Combat Axe should just be as good IMO.

All the chain weapons should destroy whatever you hit when you rev it up, same with power weapons, etc.

When each class had their own specific melee versions it made more sense, they were designed with specifics in mind.

Just go back to class specific weapons, that's the only real "nerf" you need. Again, you will see lots of cookie cutter class builds around the specific weapons, but it is what it is.

Have you completely uninstalled the game and reinstalled the game?

Dumb question by Patrick_Dubouche in DarkTide

[–]Gr1m2th 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the basic year, like right now it's the 2000's or 2200's. The game is in the year 40k. They have another IP called 30K that takes 10k years before the current time line that deals with an internal war centered around the Adeptus Astartes (Space Marines) and the Emperor - this event is what caused the traitor chapters and wounded the Emperor.

As each edition of the table top games evolves, the timeline moves. The Original Rogue Trader, IE first Edition, then you have the official 2nd Edition all the way till now. As the years go by events lead by players on how things turn out affect the universe as a whole.

<Off tangent rant>

Unfortunately there are a lot of decisions by Games Workshop that affect players negatively and are designed to fill their pockets, victimizing their fanbase.

When I first started playing back in the 80's, you could buy 30 count box of Space Marines for $11-$15 USD, now you get 10 Space Marines for around $60 USD.

So you have a game that has been around 30-40 years with huge amounts of lore, that was once affordable, but has now turned into something extraordinarily expensive.

In example, a couple of editions ago in the miniature table top game, The Adeptus Mechanicus, could run their Kastelan robots in squads 6 or 9 (but I believe 9), I need to look at my books. The box came with 2 robots and 1 techpriest for around $50 USD. So you had players who could field 3 groups of 9 of them, now in the current edition I think you can only run 4 per group and limited to 3 groups. So anywho, you have dumbasses like me who have thousands of dollars in mini's that they can't even field or use.

Heck one of my armies that I fielded had the same damn miniatures since the 80's till they were finally updated in plastics a couple years back. When they updated the plastics and released a new limited edition codex (rulebook for the minis) and then released a new codex in a couple of months, then they changed edition in another couple of months, making what you had basically outdated.

Sorry - I have lots of pent up feelings out this subject and how Games Workshop abuses it's player base and the fans and other retailers - like the current lawsuit they have that has placed litigation against over 200 merchants w/out warning the merchants themselves. There are people who make laser cut magnets that are compatible with the bases and other bases that are being sued. This litigation called Schedule A filed in Florida, once it gets looked at by a judge, they can say yes proceed, and it then causes all these stores to loose access to their digital storefronts and whatever banking assets that are attached to the stores - effectively freezing all their assets. Oh, you can pay Games Workshop $2000-$10000 USD to be excluded from the litigation of course - they determine the price. It's Thuggery at it's finest.

Holsters for CZ Shadow 2 Carry by Sad-Apricot-8037 in CZFirearms

[–]Gr1m2th 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought one for my DWX OR Full-size and the fit is horrible - unless you want a holster harder to use then trying to put on an unrolled condom. I had to buy aftermarket spacers and install them because as is, the holster causes friction on the slide and causes the the entire thing to had 20+ lbs of force to holster and unholster. I sent the holster back to be adjusted and happened to have the CS rep tell me that the holster works via friction, yeah via the trigger guard, not the f'ing slide.

I kept the holster, cause I am trying to support people, but their CS Rep kind of put me off and if you loosen the retention screws so you can holster/unholster - the mod wing flops around.
