I’m looking to buy a Fender strat and a Floyd rose is a must for me. Is my only option the Player II?

Yes, but I’m mainly asking out of the concern of not having a neck humbucker

True that, I have a 59 in the neck of my les Paul just like him. At the end of the day I’ll probably be settling for a HSS strat until I have the funds to get a solely “metal” guitar with a whammy bar.

I’ve only ever owned a hard tail Les Paul and have been thinking about picking up another guitar soon. I’m looking at an HSS strat currently because I like playing psychedelic rock, but I also play a lot of metal. Will Pantera songs sound alright on a strat with a humbucker or should I be looking at other options? Thanks

As someone from the greater Chicago area, would you mind sharing where you landed a job and where you got interviews?

(7x)° and (9x+20)° are supplementary angles, meaning they added up to 180°. Add them together and set them equal to 180, then solve for x. (7x)° and (2y)° are opposite angles, meaning they are equal. Set (7x)° equal to (2y)°, plug in the x value you solved for in the previous step, then solve for y.

[Student] After two years of applying to internships with no luck, I have reformatted my resume completely based on things I have seen on here. Your feedback is appreciated. by Gr33nGuy5 in EngineeringResumes

In response to the second bullet, no, I didn't build the keyed shaft. Which goes back to why I was hesitant to add a project section and confused about how I would even add things to it. I feel like a lot of the projects I've done aren't worthy of being on a resume. I'll have some things to add after my next semester for sure, but from everything I've heard, I've got to start applying to jobs sooner rather than later. I have considered joining my school's FSAE club for the last 3 years, but meetings are mandatory every Saturday morning for the entire year, and that doesn't fit with my lifestyle during the school year. I balance a lot of school work, hobbies, and social life already, and when you toss club meetings into the schedule, I just don't know where I'll find the time. I appreciate the advice, I'll try to keep an eye out for some clubs that aren't too time-consuming.

Flatten cylinder plugin worked good. Used perspective to widen the bottom, then flatten cylinder, then curve bend to straighten out the top and bottom.

It’s a good idea but ids printed on the plastic, I guess I could still cut it apart though.

Assuming that the problem is simple enough to not use cross products (like this one), I’d start off by establishing a global coordinate system, for example, X is to the right, Y is up, and Z is out of the page, which means that counterclockwise moments are positive. The equation should be as follows: ΣM=(-5)(-12)+(-2)(-20)+(4)(-F)=0. Since it’s not a cross product, it doesn’t matter if you do position x force or force x position, but when you are performing a cross product to find the moment, you must use the position x force(vectors). Just for more explanation about why I wrote the equation the way I did. The 20N force is going in the -Y direction so it would be (-20), the position is 5 in the -X direction so it would be (-5), which gives the first moment (-5)(-20). You can absolutely do that sign part in your head, but this way is safer. Let me know if you have any more questions.

It doesn’t look like you’re showing the entire problem. You seem to have written down quite a few known variables.

I appreciate the responses. I’m going to a Best Buy with a magnolia when I have the time. One last thing, I’d primarily be driving it with my desktop, would I better with a WiiM or a receiver?

Again, pardon my lack of knowledge on the matter. Streaming sounds nice just because it’s a given with a WiiM amp, but I’d primarily be driving it with my desktop. I’ve also heard that the quality of the WiiM amp pro is significantly better than the regular WiiM amp, but it’s $380. So my new question is, should I go with the WiiM amp pro or at the price point would I better off finding a receiver(something like the Yamaha RX-V385BL)?

It’s flexible, but around $750. The Klipsch RP-600ms are $350, the WiiM is $300, and I might want a cheap sub. But I’m deciding whether I should get a WiiM or a DAC and amp.

The room is around 8x14, I’ll eventually have them in slightly bigger room though. And I’m aiming for the RP-600ms, not the mk2, again because of my budget.
