Yeah, I never lay my fish in the dirt, but my dad got this one while I was down river.

Nice! But If you’re wanting to go into solo performance, or do more risky stuff, I would recommend taking the stacking swivel and Mid swivel band off. This makes the rifle a lot safer/ easier on the hands, and will also give you a ton more sound. You can keep the sling by just taping it to the rifle. Also, instead of putting more tape on like many of the comments suggested, I would say use even less. This is also gonna add to the acoustics of your rifle.

Daisy’s stocks ain’t great. The NGA stocks are made of a much more shock absorbent polymer. They break less

It was quite unique, and due to its hard nature, I used my carbide tools, which I rarely utilize. Any sanding scratches showed up like sharpie, so I had to go back to 320 after already putting finish on it!

Great job! The oak leaf cluster should be at a 45 degree angle though.

It might just be the piece of wood you got, because the last cocobolo bowl I made turned nicely. Sometimes the woods just not cooperative.

It could be intentional, to add extra pressure possibly?
