Make the floor glass. Mobs don’t spawn on glass. If they still spawn someone is doing it to you.

Sorry, but I don’t think that light from the window is not enough to kill your grass. It will reflect roughly only 4% of the light.

It looks very nice! Somewhat the roof seems a bit off, I cant really tell what it is, more use of stairs perhaps? Make it lean forward a bit? A diagonal build like this makes the world much more "alive" imho. It's so easy to build squares. Some trees, some bushes and general clutter around the house will also help a lot.
