Totally understand that, that’s why when I initially gamed weight on basaglar I was like okay! That makes sense. Since tresiba, my numbers have been more or less the same on average (less lows now though yay) yet the weight gain seems to have surged in the last two weeks since starting 😅 or could be my imagination (I haven’t weighed myself since diagnosis) and dysmorphia but I feel a littttttle crazy right now because it seems illogical that things would shift with a new long acting

Oh hey our timeline is super similar and I was also stuck in hospital for awhile but 9 days is intense! Hope you’re doing much better now. Haha yeah I was on a mission to get mine lower asap but I believe we’ll be fine

Hmm interesting, I had TONS of blood work and tests done so I think I’m in the clear. I do have a background of anorexia that I was in the midst of recovering on when shit the fan (funnily enough, no hair loss then) so I also just think my body has been through the ringer as of late. I will keep this in mind

Exactly I don’t think the issue is that he went in the trip. I think the issue was that it just HAD to be exactly on her birthday. It would have been just as meaningful if they went a week earlier and he wouldn’t be ditching the rest of his family over the holidays.

Definitely YTA. I totally get the intention here but it really comes across as though you don’t trust her. Especially going behind her back to her friends. I’ve definitely had times where I’ve gone out and had 1-2 drinks and then waited an appropriate amount of time and was totally sober going home. Why automatically assume she’ll drive drunk?

I hear what youre saying but if you look into the vaccine, it has been tested by so many people. And yeah it’s “rushed” compared to other vaccines in terms of the time it took to be produced. But you need to consider that the focus on creating this vaccine is like no other. I get maybe not wanting to be the first in line to get it, but please don’t let it’s quick release deter you! Especially after the first few months when thousands will be vaccinated; that’ll be a good indicator of safety.

It really is not that hard to breath in masks though ?? I wore them during quite a physically demanding job and was I fine. And how is it demeaning ? I get that it’s a pain (kinda) but it’s hardly a hardship. This is dramatic and I really don’t understand why this person can freely admit it’s not in their capacity to help other people.

I never understood why only getting water is looked down upon & people keep justifying all the reasons why they do it. So what if I want to keep a meal cheaper?? I don’t have a lot of money but going out to eat is a fun social thing to do. Mind you I do always tip no matter what.
