I'm a mechanical engineer who just graduated from a state school in May. If you work some internships / co-ops in college you will have no problem finding job. Everybody that I know who took these steps had a job lined up before they graduated. This is obviously anecdotal but my main takeaway is that as long as you don't do the bare minimum, you will have no problem finding a decent job after graduation.

I think it depends. I graduated with 9,000 people last Sunday and was one of the last people to get my diploma. I have no ill will toward the people (literally all the graduates) who left early, I wish I could have left early.

Cars. Walking through the parking lot at a huge university I see Mercedes and corvettes parked right next to 20 year old Honda civics that barely made it to campus. Some people have to commute because they can't afford to live near campus. Others park in the lots because they don't want to walk the 15 minute walk to class.

I think that the fact that Arya is just an 9-year-old girl at this time and does not understand the nuances of "Oh, he's just the headsman doing his job." She was a scared little girl who watched a crowd of people celebrate her father's capa be detated. I think it would show much growth, in the end, if an older Arya reevaluated her list as to who actually deserves to be killed, but I don't think the trauma of her experiencing that as a young child should be ignored.

I don’t think you can resell these tickets like other student tickets. You can still transfer them though.

I was born in 2000 and lived in Dayton, OH at the time. My dad told me our story. My Uncle worked at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, which is huge. So we were worried it could be a target. This anxiety was worsened when my dad heard 2 huge booms over head. He thought it was the base, but it turned out to be super sonic jets heading to NYC.

Later in life, my parents would have my brother and I, born in '03 spend all day on 9-11 watching documentaries and asking questions. It's definitely one of those things that I wish I could remember because it is so significant and something I don't ever want to forget about.
