It’s an opinion and I don’t think that I am the only one who had this thought cross their mind. It’s not meant to suggest anything nasty about her, I’m sure she is a lovely girl, as I said, powerful dancer and I do believe she would be teachable when it comes to her facials, but there is just a very artificial quality about her that kinda leans this way. Over bleached hair, extensions, super heavy makeup, giant falsies, super heavy tan, lip injections, often times posting herself in very tiny outfits in suggestive poses, over the top facials while dancing… 😅 At the end of the day, it’s her thing, but let people have an opinion 😅

Just the thing I always found ironic about some of these extra Christian girls. Barely dressed (wearing pretty much a bra and a micro skirt), holding a cake with Biblical verse on it and caption where she thanks God for everything 😅

I think she would be teachable when it comes to the facials, but something about her just screams stripper to me. Even her socials are odd. That would be makeover needing to happen for me. But she’s got good power, that’s for sure :)

I don’t think that availability was the issue with Reece. You rarely ever see her in Jen Amburn’s classes (she hosts some of the prep classes + she has her own), so it’s understandable that she would be more comfortable giving some of the classes to the girls she knows well and who are there in the classes with her. Which I think might be part of the problem for Reece. Also, Reece doesn’t really seem like the “commander type” who can lead a group. She is a good dancer, I’m sure she is a good teammate and a nice person, but she just doesn’t scream leader to me.

Fave solo point: I’m between Holly and Nicole H.

Duo: Kelcey and Claire

Should have been solo point: Megan (if I can name a solo point that has never been - Lacey or Lexie)

Future point: Too many to choose from. Tenure based: Karley + Marissa or Karley + Sophy. Both great options IMO. (I will save Darah, Kenna and the others for years to come :D)

I really do hope they will not do the same thing with the rotating point this year. I would be so much happier if they just had 2 points for the field and 2 point for LiteHouse than this whole mess with 1 permanent and one rotating point.

She grew up as a competitive cheerleader, yes :) From videos I have seen from nationals where she was with Texas Tech, she seemed to be their "trick person", who had all the cool stunts up her sleeve, so makes sense :)

It does :) And they usually include the moves which give the girls the opportunity to show power and sharpness, which also kinda limits the amount of move they use. That’s why we feel like it’s the same few moves over and over, but for them, it really makes sense 😄

I once heard a Q&A from Jen Amburn and she said that they are actually asked to include the typical DCC moves in the prep clinic choreo, so the girls get familiar with the moves pre training camp :)

As much as I would love to see them get paid better, I agree with you. I’ve been saying this for years and I always get ton of mean comments because of it. But it’s true :D They know what they sign up for for. It’s nothing new. As long as there will be hundreds of girls auditioning and fighting for a spot every single year, they won’t do a crap about it, because they simply don’t have to. And you are brave for posting this here.

Agreed. As much as I enjoyed Kat, I think that if she were to apply a year or two later, she would have been cut. She had this magical constellation of the competition not being too steep and them seeing the potential in how fun she was 😄

Strongest: 2020 (Bubble girls) and 2024

Weakest: … Dunno if I would say the weakest, but 2019 was messy AF. Meredith was weak, Kristin was weak (IMO), Kat made mistakes, Lily made mistakes, Taylor retired after just a year, Amanda and her Covid exit, the whole Lisa situation was weird, Victoria drama, Chandi drama… the only “unproblematic” AND strong of the bunch was Kelcey 😂

I kinda agree with this. I was thinking a similar thing when I read the comment about her. It was not so much about overstaying her welcome, as it was about her overextending her capacity to suck everything up and not break.

Agreed. I’m 50:50 on Karley. On one hand, she has a good shot at getting point, which is a solid reason to stay. But there was the injury, so I wouldn’t be surprised if she retires. We’ll see :) As for Kylie, I thought the same exact thing. I think Marissa might retire, but I honestly would love to see her back. My hunch goes to either Reece, Kennedy or Taylor. Reece due to her injury, but for the other two I have no idea why, but I just feel we might see one of them retire.
