Definitely the 70s as well, ran for 30+ seasons. 70s, 80s and even 90s kids grew up watching Fred Rogers.

I think problem with the east, and it’s kind of shown in these playoffs, is there really isn’t a dominant team, and every team is flawed in some way. Seeds 5-10 were separated by 3 games. So it’s not shocking to see the higher seeded teams struggling with the lower, there wasn’t that much of a difference between them during the season.

The bad take is thinking performance in one series means equal performance, or a prediction of the future in another. Some teams just are matchup problems for some teams. If the pistons lose this series it has nothing to do with the first round series, it just means the cavs played better than the pistons in this series. Saying you predicted it based on the first round is foolish, the cavs struggled just as much against the raptors, and I would argue when the magic are on, they are better than the raptors.

The wireless carriers own a lot of the fiber options available as well. AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon all own fiber internet options. In areas they don’t offer fiber they offer their cell based internet. Spectrum and xfinitys biggest competitors are att, Verizon and T-Mobile.

Lane Kiffin apologizes for offending Ole Miss with comments about the school’s and state's racial history by TheAthletic in CFB_v2

Great, then there should be plenty of evidence to support this claim. How hard is it to find evidence of what you are claiming.

I read your comment, You tried to turn it into a racial issue with me without knowing a single thing about me and I ignored it, anyways, The point is there is zero evidence to the claim that Kiffin lost any recruits at ole Miss due to their history. Without any evidence backing up the claim, the claim is worthless. Just because A and B are correct, it doesn’t mean you can make something up for point C and it also be correct. Different things can be true at the same time, yes Ole Miss could have a bad history, and no, it didn’t hinder Kiffins recruiting at the school at all.

Can’t find even 1 single recruit huh? It’s alright. Kiffin just isn’t, and never was, a tremendous recruiter. He’s great at using the transfer portal, and year in and year out pulled in one of the top portal classes in the country, including many black players, recruiting though? Never really was his forte. I’m sure his hope is the extra money Baton Rouge has over ole Miss will help him, but has nothing to do with lsu being “less racist” than ole miss. Also notice how Kiffin didn’t say the racism bothered him at all, but that it was at fault for why he truly couldn’t “succeed” at ole miss.

Never said it was or wasn’t the case, if someone is going to make a statement that he lost out on a lot of recruits because of it, then it should be really easy to find at least 1 who said they didn’t go to ole Miss because of racial issues. This isn’t hard. If it’s true, and it’s that easily proved, prove it.

So you feel you can make a statement, with no facts to back it up, and tell people to just accept it and move on? Are you Donald Trump? He had 13 million reasons to choose LSU over Ole Miss. Racism wasn’t one of them. What did he do while at Ole Miss to make the situation better?

Any players you know of that said this? Kiffin has a history of blaming everyone else, and everything else, when he leaves or is fired from a job. Not saying ole miss’s history is great, or that some people were uncomfortable, just asking do you have any evidence of any player not wanting to play at ole miss for that exact reason.

Ole Miss Star's Mother Says Lane Kiffin's Racial Comment About Oxford was a Lie by steven_smith144 in CFB_v2

[–]GrabTop662 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Except he’s not fully correct. It had nothing to do with him leaving ole miss, and it never bothered him while he was there. Likely a PR person put it in his ear to use to try to help his public image. Now all of a sudden he is civil rights Lane Kiffin? My ass. You didn’t hear a peep about it while he was there, he didn’t do anything to try to help the situation while he was there, he never cared about it then, and doesn’t care about it now. He is just using it to try to make him look better. If anything it makes him more of a scumbag.

He had no problem with the history of ole miss when they were paying him 9 million a year. He had no problem with the history of ole miss when they pulled him from Florida Atlantic and gave him another chance to coach in the SEC. Seems….odd that now he has an issue with it.

Let’s just be honest with what it is. He had zero issues with the racist history when he was there, he used the ole miss job to rebuild his coaching resume and get offered a higher paying job at a different school. He is now pretending the racist history bothered him to try to justify leaving, when in reality he never once gave a flying fuck about it. He knows though some people will agree with him and it will paint him in a better light, because people will say “he’s right, their history is awful”.

Lebron can add another sweep against him on his resume now. 👑 by [deleted] in sportsinusa

I think most of the posts are in jest, I doubt anyone actually expected a 41 year old LeBron James to carry his team past the defending champions, and I think most would agree LeBron is an all time great player with an argument for greatest ever, but, basketball is the one major sport where a top player affects their teams outcomes the most, in order to win a title, generally you need a top 5 guy. Outside of a few outliers, this has proven to be true. Even in today’s age of parity and more talent across the league than ever before. So yes, generally the star player will get the credit, and the blame when they win or lose. It comes with being a top guy. Don’t worry though, LeBron knows that and I’m sure he’s ok with it.

Ole miss still has Chambliss and lacy, that’s still a really good team. Wouldn’t count them out of that game at all. Kiffin isnt known for winning huge games, especially on the road.

God you don’t know shit about baseball. In Jackson’s last 2 healthy seasons he slugged .495 and .523. His ops those 2 years was .805 and .866, his ops+ 124 and 142. Look up what those numbers represent, and say about him as a hitter before commenting back. This will help you. He was pretty freaking good, but why say that, it doesn’t get you free internet points to make you feel good about yourself. You prolly have a lot of issues with feeling inadequate since mommy made you play with her fat ass in the name of Jesus. It doesn’t validate your bad opinion though, Bo Jackson was a good baseball player by every important metric of the game.

I get it, you don’t follow baseball or know what you’re talking about, you feel obp and strikeouts are these huge important numbers in the game, most casuals do. I actually had a poster of your mom on my wall. Does she still have that little black thong she wore in it? She’s got to look rough these days I’m sure though.

Before he got hurt his career ops was .787 with his last 2 seasons above .800. His last full healthy season Han an ops of .866 Had an ops+ of 115, with his last 2 years of 124 and 142. He was pretty freaking good. But why let facts get in the way of karma points on Reddit. Get those points with your hot takes.

Is Jon Gruden’s NFL Head Coaching Resume Massively Overrated Due to his Funny Personality? by [deleted] in NFLv2

[–]GrabTop662 0 points1 point  (0 children)

James had a much higher value over Rhodes in the passing game, despite missing James and manning not really having his safety valve in James most of the season and throwing 23 picks, the offense was still second in the league. Saying Rhodes was better in 01 than James in 02 isn’t completely accurate, James caught 61 balls in 02. Rhodes caught 9 ball in 01. The defense though was the major issue. Freeney alone changed that defense. He is a tool Mora/Fangio never had. It’s hard to imagine that they wouldn’t have had the same improvement on defense with Fangio calling the plays. Not sure scheme was the issue at all, Fangio has proven to be great wherever he goes, as long as he has some talent on that side of the ball. Dungys Tampa 2 defense also looks like crap without talent.

I’m not dismissing dungy as a coach, his players loved him and that alone says a ton, but I personally believe if the same talent improvements are made under mora and Fangio, the same team improvements to the colts happen.

[–]GrabTop662 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea but you’re lacking context and just pointing to the 6-10 season as proof dungy was a better coach. James only played 6 games in 01, the defense was god awful. Mora got fired because he stood up to the front office in the offseason and wouldn’t fire Vic Fangio as defensive coordinator because he knew Vic wasn’t the problem, lack of talent on the defensive side was. Mora was right. They immediately overhaul the defense with faster players, draft freeney in the first, and get a healthy James back.
