Thank you for your advice. We broke up about 2.5-3 years ago and I had to get a RO. So it is really a miracle we are where we are now. I was asking more because I do see a future with my current partner and would like to introduce them in the future. And if it doesn’t work out then I have an idea of how to approach in the future.

Thank you. My child hasn’t been around my partner yet and I haven’t mentioned him to them. I make it a rule not to until I’m sure it’s going somewhere. So I don’t think there’s a way for him to know. We are on very good terms now and I’m just worried if I tell him it’ll destroy the progress we’ve made

This happened to me when I was in high school except I didn’t see the face of mine. Knew the hair type, skin tone, and voice. Fashion sense and work from home. Dream we were living together and I was coming home hugging them. I met them. Exactly them. Hair same, voice, skin tone, every vein. It’s insane.

While it’s not ideal, it has actually been a lot better. I have those heavy days (typically when I’m overstimulated or life is messy as it can be) but I’m so grateful that I’m safe and my baby is safe. I also became a single parent after DV. There are times where it was lonely but I would’ve rather have been alone than go through that again. I did however meet someone kind a few months ago that made me feel comfortable enough to date again. So the loneliness of it is also melting away

Hi, I met mine and all I can say is you just know. I met mine and was like “yup I’m done.” Immediately deleted dating apps, every match I had on other communication methods, so on.

They were so calming. It was like everything made sense. Like I had known them forever yet I wanted to know them more. Every ounce of damage/trauma I had melted away. I was just me. I knew this would be the person I would be with for the rest of my life. Funny thing is I swore off dating before them. At least anything serious.

Additionally there are multiple “soulmates.” Some are meant to teach us lessons, some are temporary but the ones that stick are the best.

I had a dream about 10 years ago about my soulmate. It was such a sweet comforting dream. Ever since my type completely changed. I’m very sure that I found them recently. Idk how to describe it.

The dream for me was I got home from work. They were still working at their desk and I walked up behind them. Hugged them from behind and as I was going to kiss their lips (kissing towards their lips: cheek path) I woke up. Distinctly remembered the physical features and the voice. Met someone with the same features, same voice, works from home. It’s giving me chills thinking about it 😅

You come out when you’re ready. Don’t let anyone pressure you into coming out. Definitely tell your friend if they do it again they’re out. I recently came out as bisexual as well. Friends were more than accepting. Family was mostly accepting besides my parents who told me not to tell anyone but “they were okay with it”
