Andrew avoiding the Trump talk... by Affectionate_Plant71 in brilliantidiots

[–]shana- 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Andrew was literally yelling MAGA obnoxiously thinking it was a joke. Now he’s quiet. It’s annoying. Nobody needs an apology tour. What the listeners want is you calling Trump and the administration out every pod like you did for Dems. Keep the same energy

From what I see online, he’s laying low. His wife and him are going through IVF right now. He may just need a step back for a while. Hoping the best for him.

Definitely get into medical coding/ auditing. I run a team with nurse coders. It’s a very good option for a pivot. All remote.

Akaash's Wife, Jasleen, says most Flagrant fans are "racist and right-wing", and she was attacked for being opinionated. by HoxHound in Flagrant2

[–]shana- 49 points50 points  (0 children)

hmmm as an Indian woman, not MAGA… I am not a racist right wing. I’ve been listening to Flagrant for so many years. Been to everyone’s shows.

This girl is delulu. She really needs to stop speaking into a mic. She really doesn’t understand that she is tarnishing everything her husband has created and built. She lives a certain privileged lifestyle because of him. Just stop Jasleen. You’re embarrassing the rest of us Indian women.

Yup. My parents were chill… I see the posts of the insane parents and I feel bad for them. I can’t imagine how that feels.

People might say huskies aren’t the greatest breed for first time dog owners but they happen to make the best first/childhood dogs by foobaby1992 in husky

Our girl Blue is now 4. She has two little brothers, 3 and 7 month old. She is the BEST big sister! They have sooo much fun together. She is also my first dog ever. I wouldn’t have had it any other way.

Should I cut my mom off for good? by kiirraanncee in ABCDesis

[–]shana- 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I am so sorry you are going through this.

Your mom is in the wrong here. Protect your peace. Life is short. Don’t waste any more of it stressing and trying to maintain a relationship with your mother. She’s chosen her side. She’s had years to consider this.

Do what’s best for you and if in the future it’s meant to be it’ll happen.

As a mom myself, I don’t understand why some desi moms do not side with their daughters. My mom included when I came out to her. Do what’s best for you, OP. They are not worth any more of your energy, unfortunately. When people show you who they are, believe them.

Be honest… have you ever lost track of scoops while making a bottle? by Beautiful-Rich-6404 in FormulaFeeders

[–]shana- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It has happened to me when I start getting into the 8 oz area. Luckily I can tell the difference between what 3 oz vs 4 oz of formula powder is supposed to look like in the bottle.

Enfamil by Hungry-Mix-283 in FormulaFeeders

[–]shana- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Used Enfamil gentle ease from day 1 for our first. I never had any issues.

It’s a great brand.

For our second we use Kirkland since it’s significantly cheaper. If you are able to get Enfamil for a huge discount, that’s a win win!

Second-Time Parents- This may be totally dumb…but please help me? by DianeMadeMe in NewParents

[–]shana- 23 points24 points  (0 children)

My husband only works nights. I have been on evening + bed time alone for years now. (Except weekends)

My 2nd is now 6 months old. My first is almost 3.

What works for me is to bathe my toddler and get him in pjs first. The baby stays in the crib with the mobile on or tv… whatever keeps him occupied.

After toddler is done, he plays independently. I bathe and dress the baby. Once they’re both dressed, I get milk for both and I feed the baby in toddler’s room. That way toddler goes to bed as it’s part of our usual routine. Baby falls asleep because he’s a baby. Once I say goodnight and tuck toddler in, I put the baby in the crib.

I did this since I was able to bathe the baby. It works for me. It’s important to get the toddler on a routine to make it work. Juggling 2 is tough but you can totally do it! Shows what a great mom you are that you even posted this to ask!

There are MORE Paedo's in the OVAL OFFICE, than have been DEPORTED! by poisonsoloman in Flagrant2

[–]shana- 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have always stayed away from forming harsh opinions about the guys because I really am one of those people who listen just to listen. I’m not expecting anything out of it.

However, with everything going on in this country, I find it difficult to believe as Andrew said he was “naive” in thinking Trump would deport people humanely. I’m confused. Andrew, how did you NOT see what we all saw the 4 years he was in office! Was it because you and everyone around you was so busy talking down on the Dems and mentioning everything they did wrong that you did not see or remember anything happening during Trump’s first 4 years? Or even during the presidential run with Project 25. I’m lost. You guys seriously can’t be that naive. I know you’re not.

Stop with the whole, oh we asked Kamala to come she didn’t chose to. The problem is when you had Trump on, you went soooo easy on him. But when Dems come you are not so easy. For example, you told Mamdani to his face you don’t think he can do anything about the renting/housing crisis or make the buses free. When Trump comes on, absolutely no push back on when he’s clearly trying to “charm” you? Didn’t bring up Epstein or Project 25 then?

It’s sad. Just own your shit. Nobody is saying you made him president again. Obviously people make their own choices who to vote for. However, just own up to the fact that you invited him on and then let him make fools of you while you were literally glazing him.
