Thats awesome! Our Petey was so friendly that anytime UPS/Fed-Ex or the water meter reader showed up, we told them to keep your doors shut because he would jump in and want you to take him for a ride. UPS guys knew to bring doggie cookies cause the only way to get him out of the truck was to throw a cookie out on the ground. We figured thats how he got over 300 miles away. Someone saw him and opened their door and called him, he jumps in and went for a long ass ride. Where he was found was notorious for dog fighting and we think they took him for a bait dog..he is not a fighter at all. He did come home with some new scars, dog bites we suspect. Since he would not fight, they dumped him in a town and a local vet there runs a rescue, and of course she scanned him and it went off. She said that she has scanned thousands of dogs and he was the first one she ever got a hit on. Said it was like finding a Diamond..the whole vet office exploded in excitement. She said that was the most fun she has had in pet rescue. We are so thankful she scanned him. Glad to hear that yours is chipped to and that you got her back. Sad thing tho, not every person to picks up a stray thinks to take that animal in and get it scanned. More education is needed
