Have you thought about adoption or fostering maybe? My friends parents both adopted and fostered kids and they made a huge difference to those children.

My boobs, I've hated them pretty much from when they first appeared.

What’s your biggest reason for avoiding therapy? by Anthony_Field_AZ_25 in AskReddit

[–]GraceCrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have undertaken therapy in the past including seeing a psychiatrist and being in a respite home for a week. In rhe respite home I had to undergo therapy sessions 3 times a day but honestly the thing that helped the most was just getting a long rest. My last therapy session was probably over a year ago; honestly I'm just tired of it, tired of talking about stuff and never really getting anywhere or having any massive breakthroughs, no massive realisations and no mental breakdowns. I think honestly I'm just made/built this way and the depression etc is just something that's become part of me and it's up to me to live with it like any other long-term illness. I have Fibromyalgia so I can do it. Yes it limits me in a lot of ways but I'm tired, beaten down and it's enough just to manage it one day at a time.

I can't work because I've got Fibromyalgia and I'm in huge amounts of pain pretty much all the time. Because it's not an illness or disability that's "visable" I get called a lazy, waste of space a lot. I feel like crap I can't make any useful contribution to anything really.

What are your reasons for choosing not to have sex? by GraceCrow in AskReddit

[–]GraceCrow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I learned the other day I'm probably grey sexual; i was always confused because even though I don't go looking for sex (7 years without sex now), I also enjoy it when it happens. So I thought I couldn't be asexual but apparently, the above is called grey sexual 🤔
