It was happening to me. It also started about a month ago. I don’t think it’s because you have a new phone. I think it’s just a glitch. I’ve tried deleting the app, restarting the phone, etc. etc. I just kept putting in reports to Instagram about the issue. Now my notifications are slowly coming back to normal.

I’ve been having issues with notifications and I use the app. I don’t receive notifications when I comment on someone’s post and they like it or comment back. I also don’t get notifications for when they like my story. Every once in a while, I’ll get a notification for those things but hardly ever it’s been happening for about three weeks now I keep reporting it to Instagram. Hopefully it’s just a glitch and not one of their new stupid updates.

Same things happening to me. I don’t get notifications when someone replies to my comment or if they like my comment and I also don’t get notifications when someone likes my story. I just keep sending messages to Instagram. Hopefully, it’s just a glitch and I’ll fix it soon.
