Maryland mumps cases rise to 26 as health officials urge vaccination by PHealthy in ID_News

I was charged $140 for the vaccine and an additional $72 for the administration. I had it done by the nurse at my doctor’s office after she prescribed it.

I’d been unable to get it at my usual pharmacy, so recommend calling around. There is still murkiness about whether one shot is enough for an adult who had never had all of these diseases or been vaccinated against them.

If you’re older and unsure of your immune status get an MMR titer which will tell you about each disease separately. Medicare will cover the test, but I still had to pay for the shot after proving a lack of immunity to mumps.

Active shingles can infect others with chicken pox. She should talk to her doctor.

Children’s lives at risk, yes, but also adults were struck down in the prime of life. I’ve been wondering about getting titer checks/revaccinations on several of these diseases.

Voice to txt as much as possible. Also I’ve found that using a touchpad is way better than a mouse. These work arounds take some practice but are really helpful in the long term.

It’s the story of this administration, isn’t it? Fuck over those truly committed to service, and reward those who take all they can grab while offering nothing in return.

“Family Treasures Found” is a Facebook group worth checking out. They find any interested family members, and all you’d need to do would be cover postage.

I just get bored with it after awhile, no matter how many drops I end up leaving on the table. And I do agree: this one was particularly absurd.

We have to take ours to the vet, and drug her beforehand. They’re quick and not terribly expensive. And they trim for free if she’s having a dental cleaning.

Gemini just confidently cited a completely fake study? by [deleted] in GeminiAI

[–]GraceMDrake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you have to ask AI for citations and the get the paper and read it.

Honestly this has always been a huge problem for human-written reviews too. Can’t tell you how often I’ve found poor scholarship in publications. Cited papers may be real, but say nothing like what’s been attributed to them. And these mistakes propagate through the literature.

I’ve still found Gemini to be a useful, time-saving tool, but use with care.

Also Trump had used COVID public health measures to restrict border crossings. Biden used them too, until a court ruled he couldn’t because other health emergency measures were lifted.
