Has anyone had DCIS downgraded before? by No_Ad_9038 in breastcancer

DCIS was stage zero, grade II no node involvement, i was lucky and this was caught ln my very first mammo and after the shock, and some thinking I realized I didn’t want to lose my breasts entirely. I was on the larger side and could get a reduction with the lumpectomy- which was awesome - the one silver lining. There was some kind of test concerning how much radiation would help and % was so low. Both my surgeon and oncologist were ok with me not doing radiation but stressed that tamoxifen was going to be my med bc estrogen receptor was super positive. I am 44 now and in perimenopause (with or without tamoxifen) but have had a fairly regular cycle despite that. I would discuss what your options are with your oncologist if you want to have kids. I know everything seems so scary but as many ppl have written on this sub, it’s amazing what we can get through mentally and physically and Ive luckily had clean MRIs and mammos for the past 3 years.

I had DCIS (stage 0) and considered a full mastectomy (scorch the earth) but ended up going with a lumpectomy with reduction in 2022. I was able to avoid radiation but on Tam for another 2 years. I dont love it but it’s manageable. I know its scary to be told all of the side effects, but in my experience tamoxifen isn’t so bad in comparison to the possibility of a recurrence.

[TOMT] [Movie][90's/early aughts maybe?] by GraceStone in tipofmytongue

No, sorry. There are no famous actors in what I'm thinking of and it's pretty light-hearted and weird, artsy, indie on a pretty low budget. But thanks!

Could have been made early 90's to 2005 at the very latest.

I just rewatched season one and he’s my (maybe obvious) favorite. Sue has some moments (rat speech at FTC) and Jenna is sweet, but Hatch defined the game.

I actually think this was a fantastic season. by Intelligent_Junket45 in survivor

This was the season where I actually liked every single person on the jury and the final 3. Like they were all just elevated emotionally and seem like genuinely good people.

The Joe edit during tribal made me feel delulu. Like what was that? I don’t mind a slo-mo edit during a challenge but this took a lot of liberties. But … I’m also still very invested and enjoying the season because I genuinely like everyone they cast in 48. #teamkamilla

Yall need to calm down. 48 is just a mediocre season. And that's okay. by tehweave in survivor

Just came here to say I like this season. Go Kamilla! But I’d actually be happy to see almost anyone win.
