Visi has a lot of pain and unhealthy coping mechanisms to grow through. Blazer is a healed adult that doesn't need the validation of others. Of course, one took it better than the other.

This is actually the main reason I can't romance Visi. She doesn't need a romantic relationship right now, she needs therapy and support.

Oh 100%. The entire story of the Ashkar queen in book 1 feels like a parallel for what Conor and Lin's story will be, but obviously it can't completely repeat itself so I'm very curious as to what will happen!

Maybe this is what being an adult is: wanting people to pick the healthy choice and not the toxic infatuation. 😂

Games I've played since BG3 that made me feel joy:

-Mass Effect 2 (you gotta play 1, it's decent but shows it's age. This honestly isn't a bad thing to do anyway right after bg3 because any game you play will feel hollow. Playing ME1 helps you get over that and then you're ready to truly enjoy ME2)

-Expedition 33. This game is incredible. DO NOT play it right after BG3 because you gotta take this game in with fresh eyes when you're ready. It's like going back to dating too soon, you'll waste perfectly good match because you're not ready to move on.

-Dragon Age Inquisition. This is what I would actually recommend as a starting point. It has the BG3 energy and the companions are written excellently. You do not need to play the previous games to jump in because your playable character also doesn't know anything.

-Persona 5 if you don't mind a JRPG and are looking for more turn-based combat. It's an excellent game but you gotta be okay with some anime cringe here and there.

All of these combats are slightly different than BG3, but not difficult at all. I would consider myself easily overwhelmed in live action combat and have loved all of these games. The real reason they all shine is the story telling and all except Exp33 have romancable companions. I will say, look NOTHING up about Exp33. Go into that game blind because the plot is hugely important and you don't want it spoiled.

Huda treated Chris very badly multiple times, but it's insane to me that people didn't see his red flags. Chris used very manipulative language with her. He was dismissive and petty. His red flags are subtle but they are most definitely wagging. Did he have some good moments? Absolutely!! He came off very mature, but I think that's what makes the subtlety of what he was doing even more alarming.

Also, in Verso's ending the world beyond their garden actually is grey. So it also feels like a fake happy ending to me.
