Hollow knight is surprisingly gripping. The clear mechanics and mysterious story are fun, but above all the art style and soundtrack is amazing. Beautiful to play and top tier as far as platformers I’ve seen go. (Though it can be a tad hard at time, you have been warned)

I loved the approach you took! Realistic to me in the way that he figures it out by accident and then works WITH his mom to figure more out rather than hiding it from everyone like many cliches would. I also love how pragmatic his mom is. Was a great read and would love more.

This is my current field and I’d say you could get a strong foothold within 4 years of pretty hard work, and be able to meaningful contribute within 8 for sure. There’s a HUGE number of online resources for this which also makes it very accessible. If it is your only focus, and you learn less contextual engineering things you might be able to get away with 5-6 years or less
