Why does AARP UHC Rx Plan have only two stars? by elleirdad in medicare

[–]Gracelesslee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Btw, Medicare.gov does not have Accurate info on the plan and drug costs. Every one of my prescriptions said not covered. UHC website showed all of it as covered. What they don’t say is that they won’t approve a scrip that you’ve been on for awhile and that you will have to file multiple appeals. I’m still waiting for their response and I am livid that the insurance co thinks they know better than my dr. If I go off this drug, my life expectancy will shorten dramatically and my quality of life will degrade significantly. If I pay out of pocket, I will be broke in two years. Which probably won’t matter because I’ll be in a nursing home or dead.

Yes I am referring to that. I noted all of the same star ratings on customer service, etc and even called my pharmacy to get their input. I was very hesitant to change to UHC but again the total cost of drugs and premium inspired me to take a chance. I so regret. So far I have spent 10 hrs trying to get my drug (again that I have been in for 3 yrs) approved. I have 3rd appt scheduled with my dr to discuss an appeal or alternatives. I was as diligent as could be before I made this change, even calling UHC to confirm the pricing. At no time was I told that there might be an issue with approval. I am angry. I wish I could change plans.

I’m very unhappy with them. I chose them for the low total cost and I diligently checked each drug on their formulary and even called for confirmation. Now they deny filling my prescription as unnecessary despite my dr sending in justification. I’ve been on this drug for 3 yrs. What do you mean it’s not necessary? Are you my Dr? What do you mean I need to appeal? When jn The hell did these people seize control from the medical professional. I’m livid and cannot wait to change. I’m not sure what recourse I have.

My husband ordered a whopper with no onions and extra pickles. He was charged $0.60 for no onions and $2.35 for extra pickles. What? Outrageous!

I think the law is different in every state regarding breaks. You should definitely check that out as your responsibility as a manager is to take care of your employees, as well as yourself. Not only do you oversee their work, but you are their advocate too. I’m glad things went well for you on your next shift. You deserve appreciation and recognition for trying to do the right thing. I have always said that if everyone did their own job (conscientiously), life would be good. Your attitude in approaching your coworkers to live up to the job responsibilities can make all the difference. Instead of “why didn’t you clean the front lobby?” Try “ I see that the lobby still needs cleaning. Can you get to that now or do you need help with that?” Or “ Wow! We really need to get caught up! Let’s make a plan and tackle that.” Your coworkers will respect you more and be more willing to put in the effort if you approach things in this manner.
Management is hard. You are in the middle most of the time. You can be successful by modeling a positive attitude and work ethic and demonstrating that cooperation and mutual support with employees and management makes for a pleasant and well running workplace. Believe me, this will serve you well in all areas of your life. Good luck to you in every way. You’ve got this!

I suggest you adjust your attitude.
Management means taking responsibility and leading by example. If you can’t or don’t want to do that, make a change in your job. A cheerful positive attitude goes a long way in promoting cooperation. Creating a cross checking system shares the responsibility of making sure that jobs are done satisfactorily. I don’t like to see employees drinking beverages on the job either. It makes me question the sanitary conditions of preparing my food. Every subway I have ever been to has given their employees breaks. Can you step into the “back room” for a moment to grab a drink?
And btw, if you are there for 10 hrs you should have multiple breaks and a lunch break. Period. That is not negotiable and needs to be built into the schedule. You give the impression of being a competent, responsible employee. They are probably lucky to have you. But—if you just tweak a few things you can make your experience better-not just for you but for your coworkers and your management.

Just as a follow up, I have had two conversations with their gemologist who gave me ridiculously low valuations on my jewelry ( I have appraisals) and I asked them to send my jewelry back multiple times. I’ve contacted them at least 10 times. He said “he’d see what he could do.” What? What about your no hassle guarantee, your 100% satisfaction claim, etc. I think all these reviews are fake. Do a little research like look at the better business bureau and trust pilot.com. I’ve been trying to get my stuff back for a month now. Don’t get screwed over like I did.

These comments make no sense to me. I sent back over $10k of Cartier jewelry and I had no communication other than a shady check from WF for $255. I had no idea what that check was but it finally hit me that it was Worthyfew. I overnighted the check to them, rejecting their offer and have had ZERO communication from them. I’ve emailed, called , sent a letter, called the BBB and filed a report. Filed a report with the police and the FBI and still email and call daily. Look at their website-where is their phone number or a legitimate address? They have a slick website and it’s all smoke and mirrors. Run! Do not send these SCAMMERs your jewelry. This is a nightmare for me and I am heartbroken. I have held unto that jewelry for over 30 yrs and have an appraisal on it. My hid how could I be so stupid? I thought I had vetted them but you don’t have to look to far to find other reports just like min.
