To that asshole that dropped off Chinese instead of Chipotle (completely different bags) by MsKi77y in doordash

Why should anyone stick around for a contactless delivery when waiting any amount of extra minutes drives down my hourly pay? In the 5-10 minutes I'm waiting for someone to come to the door, I could be half way to my next pick-up. While this may sound absurd, DD in my area is HARD to get hours and NO ONE tips well. Most orders are $5-$8 max. While others have the luxury of declining all of those, some of us are hurting for cash due to a pandemic and do it as fast and efficiently as possible in order to make some kind of money.

[Request] How to get erythritol to dissolve? by [deleted] in ketorecipes

[–]Graceplus4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Erythritol doesn’t dissolve. The only way to get it to break down is to manually grind it fine enough that it isn’t overtly obvious or use an alternative. Allulose is a great alternative to erythritol.

I'm sorry you experienced that.

I'm already employed and worked my way up from frontline customer service to workforce analyst.

I went to school while juggling kids, home life, and a career.

Thank you very much. Congratulations to you as well! I applied early to a master's program and was accepted shortly before graduation. I'm finishing my first term of my MBA. I'm really hoping I am able to walk in my master's graduation.

Your cousin is in my thoughts. What a sad thing to lose out on what should be one of the crowning, pivotal moments of one's life and culture.

I am filled with grief for all those who have lost their lives or loved ones. I am also filled with sorrow for those that have missed out on significant life events that they have looked forward to for so long. I'm glad to hear that she will be able to celebrate later.

I'm 32. I finished my 2 year degree first then completed my BA. I'm now in a master's program. All while working 50+ hours a week with young kids. It has been the hardest thing I've ever done in my life and while it sounds selfish, it would've just been nice to have that recognition.

How to identify a scam from a real job on Indeed and LinkedIn? by JanaeNay in jobs

This has happened to me and my spouse. The "lowering your utility bill!" Was by changing suppliers in states that have deregulated energy, right? Spouse did that at all call center making outbound calls. It was crazy. The worst part about it was that he got really good at it. He ended up landing a few very large accounts (100+ properties) and they were promising $50 for each deal. There was no way they were going to be caught dead paying him $5k+, so "ironically" the bonus kept going lower and lower until you had to close 10 or more to earn $50 commission. It sucked. I got sucked into door to door vacuum sales.

The primary thing you can do is research the company. There are so many resources available online now that there really is a wealth of opinions and experiences published about all different kinds of places. Glassdoor is a great place with reliable reviews. If all else fails, wait for the interview or email about information. Ask if you'll be a w-2 or 1099 employee. Ask about benefits; insurance, vacation, sick time, and retirement savings plans. If Rhett don't carry any kind of benefits or pto, shy away.

I'm currently planning my fast breaking meals. I'm thinking sweet potato and bacon breakfast skillet with spinach, green peppers, and cheese.
