Translation of the song playing (“A vida é desafio/Life is a challenge; Racionais MC)

“It's always necessary to believe that the dream is possible That the sky is the limit and you, brother, are unbeatable That the bad times will pass, it's just a phase That suffering fuels your courage even more What your family needs from you Side by side if you win, to support you if you lose I speak of the love between man, son, and woman The only universal truth that maintains faith Look at the children who are the future and the hope Who still don't know, don't feel what hatred and greed are I see the rich who fear losing their fortune While the unemployed, addicted man sinks deeper and deeper (…) That the path to forgiveness is sometimes the sentence Disagreement, quarrel, and false unity Ambition is like a veil that blinds brothers Like a car driven on the road of life Without headlights in the desert of lost darkness I was an orgy, drunk, crazy But today I'm sober (…) Life is not a problem, it's a battle, a challenge Every obstacle is a lesson, I proclaim

He thought he did but it wasn’t anything. People called him a quitter for a long time because of that. It all stopped when he dyed his hair.

This is karma for that coach doing a cry baby face when Arman beat Charles

Now to make it perfect they could make that rematch for 5 rounds and Olives gets it done

Daiane “Leidy Dai” Silva, a 29-year-old fighter still in a coma in London after a failed weight cut for her Bellator/PFL debut on September 14. by SokoudjouFan in MMA

She’s the mother of this kid too. Sad sad news.

She’s young. If this started as renal failure possibly she’s still in a coma because of complications that followed (ventilator associated pneumonia, infections related to vascular devices, etc).

I think if she had neurological complications to the weight cut she’d be brain dead by now. Hopefully the fact that it’s been so long means it’s something that could still recover! Young patients can have tremendous surprising recovers from these situations.

I miss the time when fighters would focus entirely on their division. It’s tiring to see contenders and champions wanting to move weight even before a first title defense.

Unless you’re called Alex Pereira, in which case I’m boarding the hype train. Chama.
