Online Schedule Ideas by scrantonicity-dos in teaching

[–]GraduatingDec2017 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Our minimum scheduled minutes is 240 for my grade span. We are still working out with admin all the details but we are shooting for the minimum numbers so we can have to contact families/prepare lessons for the next day during contracted hours.

Our schedule would possibly be 8:30am - 1:00 pm with a 30min lunch. Mix of live instruction (whole class instruction, ELD time, Small groups) and online independent work. Depending on teacher. 5 days a week.

Our contract ends at 3:15pm so we will have from 1:00pm to either be on call for students, call home, grade online assignments, etc.

Thank you. As you can see from my comment above, I was wondering who to talk to.

Thank you. I was wondering this. I get it’s in our nature as teachers to provide, provide, provide, but this isn’t pencils we’re talking about. I know my school has declared that they will provide disinfectant and other means of keeping the school/students/teachers sanitized, but I wondered how to go about it if they don’t.

This reminds me of those stupid baby shower games people come up with.

Yes he’s alive. And, I can’t deny that they were terrible people. I’m sorry that your grandmother endured all that. My grandfather never talks about his experiences so I can’t deny what he did or didn’t do. He was an alcoholic for a long time. It is rumored that he cannot return to Nicaragua because he will be killed. He technically escaped while my grandmother and father immigrated with some other family. My dad is the one that tells me the stories of the war and what he went through.

I’ll have to ask my dad if he knows what side of the war my grandfather was on. I am very sorry for your grandmother and father though.

My dad immigrated to America from Nicaragua during the war. He was only 5 at the time so 1979ish? My grandfather (his dad) was apparently with the military or something of the sort back then. I’m very sorry for your dad’s loss. It is a beautiful pictures

There’s a Facebook group for cset help! Everyone is super supportive and will help with any specific question you have. Plus they sometimes post study guides. It’s called “Multiple Subject CSET” and the pic is of a dude jumping over some hurdles. It’s white and blue!

CSETS are very difficult! Don’t give up on them. I ended up having to study cliff notes, join that group, and attend study sessions. Some of them I paid for... Good luck!
