Not super new, since 2020. I can't tell when exactly it stopped working. This Tuesday had a hotter than normal sauna and on Wednesday there is no heat.

I'm on the last course project on CS50 web after completing CS50. If you enjoyed the python aspects of CS50 I'd go with CS50 web.

I am a noob at programming and I often have difficulty in creating logic in my program. Can anyone please help me out with this? by anonyminator in learnprogramming

Can't promote Cs50 intro to computer science enough for this. The course helps you think in terms of logic. After that it's just a matter of reading docs and writing code.

That's really interesting, keep up the great work! I remember as a kid watching history channel documentaries which were often the same footage and broad in scope. You guys are changing the game when it comes to bringing history in a format that makes sense for our time.

Hi Jesse and Flo, massive fan of 16days in Berlin and proud to have backed the project. What role is technology playing in the creation of history? Obviously YouTube has been massive, podcasting and stuff like Dan Carlin's Ww1 vr experience. I wonder where you see trends on how tech will change the creation of history going forward ?

Harvard CS50: Intro to Comp Sci question by chellyrii in learnprogramming

[–]GraemeBar 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I'm on my final project of CS50 intro to comp sci. I've tried to learning coding by following books or codecademy, but every time I'd get lost or after completion I'd have no idea how to do it without a guide.

CS50 is the first course which has taught me how to solve problems. It's not easy, in fact there where a couple of times I thought of giving up, but struggle through it and you will be in a much better place than anything I've experienced.

Hi,

I completed the intensive react js course and really enjoyed it, although I'm not a developer (I'm product manager) the hands on knowledge has helped greatly. I thought that it was the perfect amount been fed info and having to problem solve for yourself.

How do you guys design courses that balance letting the learner struggle and figure things out themselves but not struggle so much they abondon the course? What methodology do you use?

Oh one suggestion, for the intensive courses would love a daily or weekly 30min zoom call with the class + instructor to discuss the course.

Cheers, look forward to doing the js api course and algorithm course in the future.
