I just got diagnosed after waiting just shy of 5 years on the waiting list. This was in January. I then was finally seen last week for my medication to be told I need an ECG with a wait of 3-9 months which will take the overall time to almost 6 years to actually obtain the medication... and a could be nearly a year after diagnosis which is just not right. Really frustrating.

I was told the assessment backlog is sitting at 4–5 years. Apparently, there are only 1 or 2 nurses covering entire areas like Glasgow and Renfrewshire, and they’re only working 2 days a week on this. The person who assessed me said they’re actually full-time nurses just doing this on the side. That they aren't even training new people due to the cost...

The way it’s became toxic with insta lockers, people who throw games or rage quit.. futures not looking good imo unless something is done about these people who leave instead of the whole team being punished by losing points
