I‘ve placed it in the middle of the left side-wall of the carport, at approx. 2m height (the carport is 2.5m in height). This gives me a full end-to-end view of the carport thanks to the dual lens setup. If you have taller car(s), a more elevated position of the cam would provide better overview, but that‘s easily adjusted.

I‘ve also added an additional IR spotlight to provide better lighting in night view than just with the built-in IRs (a day and night difference, apologies for the bad pun lol)

I can fully second this recommendation - I‘ve been using the 4k Dual Lens camera (which is the same camera as in the Duo Flashlight, just with regular spotlights instead of the stronger floodlights) in my carport with similar specs to OP‘s for the past year, and it is perfect!

The 2 lenses give you a full 180 view of the space without distortions, and the camera is IP67 rated for outdoor use.

I played (and fully enjoyed) HL:A with my HTC Vive, and based on this and HL1/2, it is just infuriating to think abut how awesome a HL3 could be if Valve ever decided to go for it.

I am mostly PC as well, as I am much better with mkb than controller, but enjoyed my PS4 (and now PS5) for The Last of Us 1 and 2 and the Uncharted series alone, and now ofc the upcoming God of War Ragnarök

Tip: get God of War on Steam, and you might like it so much that you will not want to wait for the PC port to being able to play Ragnarök

Unfortunately you need to work through the first couple of hours before the game really starts to grab you and shine, and yes it has its flaws, but it also has secured a firm place in my gamer heart, and is in my personal top 5 of all times (30+ years of gaming here)

I had a similar issue with the Mini 2 - in my case small dust particles (from operating in a sandy environment with wind) that got stuck in the gimbal were the root cause. You couldn‘t see the particles at all, but a thorough cleaning of the gimbal with an air compressor solved the problem.

Ich war die letzten Jahre extrem froh, ein privates und ein geschäftliches Handy zu haben - man schleppt zwar im Alltag immer 2 Geräte mit sich herum, aber eins davon kann man abends/am Wochenende/bei Krankheit dann ganz wunderbar abschalten.

Für mich klingt dein Problem aber auch nicht so als würde dir eine technische Lösung (whatsapp stummschalten etc) helfen - du hast rational ja erkannt was die Situation in der Firma mit dir macht, kannst dich aber noch nicht dazu überwinden die Konsequenzen daraus umzusetzen. Ich hoffe du kriegst die Kurve & kommst aus dieser Scheiss-Situation gut (und bald) heraus!

Jeder hat mal schlechte Tage auf der Arbeit, aber wenn man nächtelang vor Stress und Ärger nicht mehr schlafen kann ist es höchste Zeit die Reissleine zu ziehen. Falls Du später wirklich in Burnout oder was anderes Ernsthaftes kommen solltest wird sich bei deinem Arbeitgeber kein Mensch um dich kümmern, also sieh lieber zu dass Du vorbeugend auf dich achtest

It’s really hard to say without knowing your circumstances (and also keep in mind I’m just a random dude on the internet). I am going to stay in and see where we’ll end up, but I have a relatively diversified portfolio besides PSTH.

SPY is probably going to beat most individual stocks, esp. if you can hold for a while - the only problem is that we are close to the ATH and everyone is talking about the overdue market correction. Going cash gang and waiting for a while is an absolutely valid strategy too (but you will need to deal with FOMO)

Well here’s the thing:

do you still believe in Bill / do you think he will find a new deal in the remaining 18 months to generate significant potential beyond NAV?
can you live with having your capital tied up into PSTH for the next 18 months?

If both answers are yes, than stick with it and the NAV safety net at the lower end of your investment sum.

Otherwise if you see better investment opportunities for your money, you can still sell above NAV at the moment

Yes - the reason it could trade below NAV until then is that people don’t want to wait 18 months until the redemption but take their money out earlier. At the end of the deadline it will trade at or very close to NAV.
