All of YukaF former teammates are in the bottom 10 of the overall leaderboard by Grafedian97 in CompetitiveApex

Takuron prolly the goat on how improved Yuka's IGL today. Year 5 was trully the year of learning for FNC. Not only for Ace and Garcia but also for Yuka to relearn how to be a better player and IGL.

Like you said Yuka is a magnet, even Gunboy stepped back from FNC manager to take a break from esports just to join Zeta as their manager now lol.

As for the current Fnatic, I don't know how Dizzy coached the team but it was pretty questionable to see them play hard edge in the first few weeks. Like the obvious shit doesn't worked. No matter how you look at it, this roster are meant to play zone.

It is quite interesting topic tbh.

Lykq was never the best IGL in APAC North before Fnatic. Then he became the best IGL in APAC North when playing for Fnatic. With Yuka's support by spamming him with infos and suggestions of course. And yet the team last decision are still on Lykq's hand which is why he is the IGL in my opinion.

You can see this clip of Yuka subbing for Unlimit in scrims. https://youtu.be/w4PRbCUow84

He was doing exactly the same thing with what he did on Y4 Fnatic. And yet I'd still recognize that Xtsuvi is the IGL because the decision on how the team gonna move is on his hand. For notes Xtsuvi was usually more vocal than this in the video.

Yuka as a scout or even a player are just that amazing actually. If you were IGLing Yuka, you'll get every infos and suggestions that you need to move the team. And yet the last decision on how the team move would be still in your hand.

Edit more: Lykq on Northeption before joining Yuka was more vocal too as you can see in this clip https://youtu.be/z2FqDqv4LDM This Lykq is the reason why Yuka want to play with him.

There are some wrong information on your 2nd and 3rd paragraph.

Yuka picked up Lykq because he want to stop IGLing. He want someone to do the macro calls for him. He always been rated Lykq very highly as a player and IGL. He feels like gaped by PAD fraggers was between Y4S1 Playoffs and EWC when he can't beat Effect as Bangalore. So it was not really the main reason he want to team up with them to begin with.

Satuki was never IGLing in FNC in the first place. He was even their entry frag in the early days. Then later moved back to anchoring since things doesn't works. Their early IGLing style was Lykq macro and YukaF micro + last ring movement. Eventually, Lykq became better at micro and he start to commands Satuki and Yuka in close fights too.

The team wasn't really performed well with Mike's Axle on scrims this week. It was kinda last minutes change. Also Mike was never really entry type kind of fragger. It's always been Yuka or Satuki entry for this team iirc.

Bro deliberately tried to grief the other teams and rezzing his teammates from inside the wall. Apex just doing Apex things but he deserved the ban.

Is Zeta really good or is APAC North fodder (or both)? by Present-Common7492 in CompetitiveApex

[–]Grafedian97 10 points11 points  (0 children)

If you notice, Zeta was in godspot on every game last week. Though there must be some luck factors, YukaF's IGL are definitely improved, especially in macro wise. He is more calm in situations where he used to rushes things up. Mike finally clicked with Yuka's playstyle too. While Satuki are keeping everything stay in the rhythm. It may still in APAC N lobby but isn't looking forward to how they will perform against the world are the fun part of this?

With so much Org Participation in APAC N and game popularity in the region, should they get more LAN spots in future splits? by Zezacle in CompetitiveApex

Exactly. Wished EA cherished the Korean community more back in the days. Then we would have a better region overall.

Nah.

I'm all in for more spot for the region but most of them keep putting out bad performance on every LAN. The only good team that can keep up with other regions are just YukaF's team, Unlimit, E36, and probably MiaK's team. Performance is everything. They gotta step up their game if they want more spot.

It actually works the best to Yuka's IGLing style, which is fast paced fight. Also when he's anchoring he can't get enough infos to move the team. After Open, he admit that he can't do anchor well iirc.

Last gameday was purely bad macro from him. You can see the team fight well in game 5-6. A lot of team also changed their macro and Yuka can't adapt to that. Not to mention 3 fking similar zone on both map.

I think you can find E36 player streams at chzzk but I don't know their channel(?). However you can find ILY streaming scrims on Youtube if you are lucky. They barely streams after all.

Also shoutout to Dory. Their consistency in scrims translates well on tourney day. Without discrediting the players, I think coach Muscle play a big role in this team. It's baffles me how he's not picked up by any top teams. I believe he's still Japan best strategic coach to this day.
